As a last nail in the coffin, Magmadire Eruptidon fell to UU in Scorch's tournaments

I think the main reason people stopped using Magmadire as much was because it was boring, and everyone knew at least during the beginning of the ACP2 meta that Hellstorm was broken (There's some debate about if Magmadire is still problematic now, but personally I still think it is) and intentionally didn't use it because of that reason. It's also relevant to mention that just because something isn't used much doesn't mean it's not broken, due to either people either not realizing its potential (Cephalops in Scorch tourneys for example) or choosing not to use it for the sake of a challenge in competitive rather than just abusing braindead shit.
I still think Magmadire is really good, mainly to do with GMAX Wildfire in this game being insanely good, however when it loses Hellstorm for Eruption (With Lavafiend getting Hellstorm instead) I think we could consider taking it off the ban list.

Good video. I've also found behemoroth and soul burst stratusoar to be a check towards soul burst eruptidon as both of those loomians cannot safely switch into eruptidon but can KO it in one hit using dissonant chord from strat and earthquake from behemoroth. Ngl the bulky waters are much better at dealing with magmadire but still i've found those loomians to be good checks towards it as you simply have to slow pivot into them.

A lot of people expect Magmadire because all of its answers were not only mandatory, but had good match ups for the metagame (with or without Magmadire). So if you wanted to pick a good wallbreaker that people would not expect that still had overwhelming match ups, Magmadire arguably isn’t that guy anymore.

Only way to buff this would be to give this thing like a soul burst x or y form or something along those line and the one shown in the showdown trailer with stratusoar could be it bc the actual one does look different compared to the trailer one
