Forza Motorsport is a simulator. Forza Horizon is partly arcade, but not like need for for speed as it is so unreal. They used their same physics engine they just made it closer to the arcade racer part of the spectrum.
To you, it's the best way possible Everyone has their own playstyles. Don't be one of those "Stop having fun" guys telling people off for not playing the game competitively like you do.

The premium cars are a large step up from GT4. But make sure to play those PS2 games after playing games like GT5. You'll be surprised sometimes how they've aged compared to how you remember them.
@TehStarrz It's really not the physics, though. It has to do with depth of field and motion blur and the doppler effect and tunnel vision etc. GT5 simply doesn't do that stuff properly. And if it is the physics of the game, then that's a pretty major flaw. Go look at GTR2. It's roundly the best simulation racing game available today, at least for enthusiasts looking for track racing. Its feel is WAY closer to Forza than GT5, and I think that says something.
I used the Bugatti EB110 with the Veyron swap and tuned for this race, let’s just say he couldn’t keep up at the beginning and all throughout the race he was nowhere to be seen.
NFS is just what we grew with, i still love it but previous versions had been better in most of the aspects,, the best thing about the 2012 is the grafics i just find it amazing compared to other games ive played,
Lol, you can tell the difference between 200 kilometers and 200 miles per hour, the car will become way more unsteady at 200mph, at 200kmph it will act normal, I should know I have the Aventador stock and when it hits 200 it begins to become unbalanced, like it is with all cars. I'm going to max it out tomorrow which it will then really fly.
I like Forza better than GT5, and I own both. My problem with GT5 is that there's no sense of speed in the car. Doing 100 mph feels and looks like doing 40 mph. I raced around a track with a Mazda Miata and kept slamming into walls because I couldn't figure out when to start braking, simply because I couldn't tell how fast I was going. I've never had that problem in Forza. (And before anyone starts saying contrary, I play with all assists off, simulation everything, in both games.)
wow, as I suspected forza is pretty much a little bit more serious version of need for speed. With forza horizon they hit a new low. They now need to add some hot girls, some police chases and some more tuning paints and neons, and they will be pretty much the same.
I don't mean to brag. Honestly I don't, but I had beat him with the BMW M3 GTR, which was R2. I had Manual w/ Clutch and driving line off, steering and braking manualy. Like I said, I'm NOT bragging.
In real life, we'd all use ABS and TCS, maybe not an automatic (though that Viper may be automatic, since its MURRICAN). So talking about someone on a non-simulation game about assists is weak. IF he had on the driving line and brake assist, then I believe the bashing would be warranted, but not in this respect.

GT5 and Horizon are two completely different games. GT5 is a simulator. Horizon is an arcade racer (Need for Speed is an arcade racer).

GT5 is a "Simulator." Live for Speed has more realistic physics than Forza and Gran Turismo combined. Play it for yourself if you don't believe me
