He is the direct descendant of Aryaputra Ram a pure Aryan Kshatritya (Rajput). It was Pandit Birbal Dhar, Raja Gulab Singh (Dr. Karan Singh's ancestor) and Maharaja Ranjit Singh who are the reason Kashmir Valley, etc. is a part of Bharat today.
Recently in his interview he said Indian govt forced his father to go on exile forced by Sheikh abdullah and never allowed him to enter jk after dt . So hw cud he admire him as nehru was PM at dt tym.plz clear ds
Dr. Singh is correct it is Pandit Nehru aided by Lady Mountbatten who saw to it that Kashmir Valley, etc., joined India. The British were keen to create two states of equal power Pakistan and India for their future agenda and they had all the power then and saw to it that a part of the J&K State an independent kingdom went to Pakistan. We were able to get the key Prize Kashmir Valley. When a good leader arrives on the scene in India POK shall be got back. In fact Mrs. India Gandhi got back parts of POK in 1971.
For all his poise, knowledge, simplicity and humility and profound scholarship. He could have challenged Indira during the Emergency times and Sanjay Gandhi when he wrecked havoc with his sterlisation.program. Dr Singh hung on to.power. That side of his persona lacks character.
I really admire for his simplicity, no ego. Many king background persons feel as if they want let others know that they are from rulers family.
