I have wanted to try Hainanese Chicken Rice for ages, but I couldn't find a restaurant in my area to order it. After seeing your video, I decided to stop being lazy and make it myself.
I served it to my mom and son. They were taken aback at what looked like boiled chicken and white rice (I stir fried vegetables rather than serve cucumber). Once they tasted it, they couldn't get enough.
Your directions were perfect and easy to follow. I couldn't believe how delicious the final result was. And, I put the leftover broth in the freezer to make Congee when my son and I are in the mood for some.
Thank you so much for sharing!
