Yeah... I was wondering if anyone could hear that. When I change the dressing I usually keep it off for a few minutes to air it out, it makes a squishy squishy sound as I walk around as well.
This video it's totally gnarly! I don't know how I find myself in these parts of reddit randomly, but 10/10 will share with friends and watch previous video.
since watching this video my hammy has been aching... I wonder why lol. I have to sit down every once in a while because it feels like my thigh is cramping up. I guess I have to step up my tolerance to these vids.
It is now - it wasn't to begin with because it was draining far too much (between 50-70mL per day). Healing is slow, it was confirmed I have a staph infection now but the surgeon doesn't seem too worried about it. Taking boat loads of anti-biotics.
Lumumba Kapanga Yes to both - I ended up getting a staph infection and it smelled like someone's really, really stinky feet. A significant enough amount of fluid was draining from the wound every day that they weren't able to stitch it at first, but it eventually slowed down and grandma gave it her best backstitch, closed it right up. It's one of my other videos actually!
Nope it's going to heal from the inside out. Apparently it will eventually close, but the idea is that it's kept open so that it can drain. And drain it does.
+Erick Steiner They did. The wound tore open about 1 1/2 weeks after the surgery, then I got a staph infection so they couldn't close it for another 2.5 months or so :(
JefForking got a staph from open air and doing shit like this. One day while outside I watched as a bumble bee actually landed on his leg, rated back and inserted himself into the hole. He turned it into a hive
i want to break that white line thing inside of it so badly

Why was this not stitched together?
To wide of a cut
And it is infected
It would work it would need many stitches
@@bobbob8307 are you a doctor?
oh god...it actually made a plop sound when you pulled of the bandage!
Yeah... I was wondering if anyone could hear that. When I change the dressing I usually keep it off for a few minutes to air it out, it makes a squishy squishy sound as I walk around as well.

@@jeff4kingable I know this has healed up but man this made my stomach churn a bit. I watched the whole thing though. It looked really deep.
Interesting I thought wounds such the one like that (holes) are usually packed with gauze and changed often?

Do you need to put any kind of ointment in the hold to keep it moist inside or does the muscle "weep" enough to keep it from drying out?
Was there any odor that came from the wound? Did you end up getting stitches afterwards?
