The people running it, Ref, Doctor and coach and opponent should all be in jail for murder.

surprised by the decision....i guess the last round mattered more than the first two. i give culp credit for being able to reverse position. i hate that this is the state of "martial arts", that they do all this training just to lie on top of the other person and try to tire them out. this leaves a lot to be desired. this was like a school yard fight. all that training for a school yard fight.
Loser clapped when they announced other girl winner and not for herself so even she thought she lost. Later she acted surprised at end though so not sure why she clapped for other and not for herself. Did she think it would be vain to clap for self?

Great fight. I agree with judge Fernanda Marquez, scoring the fight in favor of Katie, who pretty much dominated this fight. Even at the end, on the bottom, she had Alexa in her guard and was never in trouble. But the other two judges scored the fight in favor of Alexa. In sub only BJJ matches, if there is no sub at the end of the time limit the match is declared a draw. Maybe MMA matches should be declared a draw if there is no knockout...
There are also submissions so loser taps out indicating they surrender, If they can't move arms I don't know what rules say they are to say, if they can neither move arms or speak I don't know how they indicate they surrender. Hopefully ref stops it before someone gets killed.

In most MMA fights I've seen, the Ref stops the match if he sees a fighter taking a lot of punishment and not fighting back. That happens more often than a fighter tapping out. I have seen many fights in which I wish they had been stopped earlier - these tough women take too much punishment, I don't like to see them hurt.

They are trained to entertain the medias, sponsors and fans with some lesbian grinding. That is what it is all about.
Judgement should not be determined by the mood of fans. Judges should be objective. This is poor decision. Katie clearly won the fight.
