- In today's vlog we go to the eye doctor so Jenn can get fitted for contacts. Then we have a live show and go to Target to look for a new desk for the office but get side tracked by all of the fun back to school stuff lol. When we get home we open a snack subscription box (we still don't know who signed us up for this but thank you, we love it) called Love With Food. This month had some really weird choices but we had a lot of fun taste testing everything! Thank you for watching and we'll see you tomorrow with a new vid!

They taste so good if you put them in the microwave
I have a roomba and it's kind of like having a helpless pet. I don't have the really expensive one that maps out the house so it tends to get lost and ends up going in circles for a few hours. It's great for day to day clean up, especially with a lot of pets (3 cats and a dog). If you wanted to get a new robotic pet, it'd be worth it. It's also more fun if you put google eyes on them!

Well Tim & Jen you make going to Target fun & Eating Snacks fun.
You handled that like a champ! If it makes you feel better, I actually passed out the first time I was fitted for contacts. Woke up sitting in the chair with my mom, the Dr & the nurse looking at me. They passed me a coke to help wake up. Looking back it had to be hilarious but MAAAAANY years later, I can pop them in & out without even looking in a mirror. Love them so much more than glasses. No fogging up or dealing with splashes in the rain- win win.

I have a Roomba and it's great! It always reminds me of those old robotic lawn mowers that used to reside behind Spaceship Earth.

We have two Roombas. We have hardwood floors across our main level, and they work GREAT on the dog hair. Not quite as good on the carpets, and they are a little funny with throw rugs, but hard surfaces? Yep. Awesome. You'd be amazed how much they pick up.

I don't know if you got a desk yet but Ikea has a cool "build your own system" where you pick the desk top and the legs and its really good. That is how I got my desk and as a college student I am never away from it. Definitely look into it if you haven't decided already!
The value section in the front of Target always has the funniest things but sometimes cute. Can't believe back to school items are out already.

In the '90s, I loved Little Debbie's Oatmeal Pies and Cosmic Brownies. Fortunately, you can still buy them.

We have a roomba! It's one of the older ones and it does an okay job, it does help with the dog hair, but we still have to vacuum some of the shaggier rugs and the stairs.

We have the Neato Connected Botvac ($699 at Best Buy). I used to have a dog hair problem. Not anymore! Suction is amazing, uses LIDAR to navigate around. In love with my Neato robotic vacuum.
I was sort of just listening to you two in the background while I did chores. I turned around to look right at the moment you were wearing your eyedoctor protector glasses and literally spit out all my water laughing. Omg you guys. I can't. Jenn you're gorgeous in whatever.
Next time you go to the movies in your contact's you'll love it. Plus wearing sunglasses and being able to see is great also.
Try one of the office supply stores for your desk. They usually have a few more styles than Target.

Not a 90s snack, but I remember in the 80s there was a snack that I love and really miss. They were fruit gummies the size of jelly beans coated in dried yogurt. Sounds weird, but I loved them.

idea for an office wall. get one of those hole peg boards like they put in workshops and cover the uper half of an office wall with it, paint it to match the office. you can then use it to hang your bigger pictures, a cork bulitain board, a white board or chalk board and shelving.
its hooks can also hold stuffed plush, ears,christmas ornaments or any other thing like that.

My absolute favorite 90s snack that no longer exists was the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles pudding pies, they were green and had a vanilla pudding filling. I remember getting those in my lunches as a kid and sometimes as a special treat. A lot of my favorite foods as a kid were TMNT, apparently, because I also really miss the cereal they used to have.

And what is wrong with IKEA furniture? My current desk is from there and it has lasted more than 15 years. I realize their furniture gets a bad rap. But sometimes you will get good quality things from IKEA. . .
Same here. Love mine. It's attached to the bookcase so it isn't going anywhere. Plus if it does or I want a new look I don't feel like I have too much invested in it.
Wonder Balls were my favorite 90s snack and to this day it makes me so sad that they're gone!

if you want a really good desk go to staples also with staples theres a thing were if you bring in ink cartridges that you got there (i think certain ones) you get rewards points (the points expire and you have a limit each day) but I got 100$ office chair for 15$ and it was on sale too
So random snack fact: Koala Yummies are very very similar to Panda Yum Yums. I've seen those sold at Target, 5Below and in Japan at Epcot. They are delicious!!!

Haha Jenn I saw the 27 contact lens thing stuck in the lady's eye too. I wear contacts and they're not scary I wear them everyday and I love them :) makes everything so much easier. Also y'all should really do a whole vlog of Jenn watching Up cause that movie is sooooo good you're missing out Jenn! Love you guys!

I have severe dry eye and can't wear contacts except for special occasions but I do miss the comfort of wearing them everyday.
koala yummies and dunkaroos! best snacks ever! Though the koalas are called Koala's March now I believe. Same box though. Dunkaroos I've found at Walmart a few years ago.
I've worn contacts for a few years now. I get the hydrogel kind and they are very comfortable. I only wear them when on days that I'm working or if I'm out running errands. They do tend to dry out a little if worn for more than the recommended 8 to 10 hours or if you have allergies like I do---My tip for keeping them moist and comfortable: Contact Lens Rewetting Drops & Gel Tears. Especially invest in the gel tears, because they help restore lubrication around/underneath the lens & help combat that dry eye feeling from prolonged use.
Also, Did you get colored lenses or regular? I think green lenses would good with your complexion. (insert GLAM emoji here!)
I came for the park vlogs, but I stayed for the home vlogs...specially with a bit of wine...
