    For many dancers like me without a technical or studio-trained background, it has always been a struggle to know how to condition the body for growth, injury prevention, and longevity specifically in a dance aspect. More than simply push-ups and crunches, dancing is a physical experience & requires the necessary training to maintain it. Thank you for providing your insight on the practice behind your passion. 🙏🏾

    I love this. I really wish there was a guide for dancers out there that had different specific training methods that help you improve different parts of your body for strength, balance and endurance. Or even a studio with trainers that specialize in these sort of things. Keone and Mari you guys are an inspiration and I hope you continue to push yourselves and others to do great and amazing things. Much love, God Bless.

    You guys are so inspirational! I'm an expat living in China and I was feeling purposeless and lonely for a long time. Then I saw Keone dancing to There Goes My Baby and I started to cry. Your dancing is like moving art. It inspired me to find a dance studio and start learning even though I'm already 26. I've now been there a year now and it has changed my live. It makes me feel more meaningful and has given me Chinese friends who I can share my passion and ideas with and has made my body so much healthier. Thank you so much for all you do. God has truly given you a talent and you have not wasted it. God bless you both.

    K&M, I appreciate this video. I am not a professional or trained dancer, but I love to dance, I also have the utmost respect for the art of using movement to interpret music while communicating life. However, outside the dance community, most individuals underestimate the level of athleticism that is required to become a skilled dancer. I am glad that this video exist to give insight and to educate the masses that dancers are exceptional athletes. Therefore, keep teaching, keep inspiring, keep growing.
    Blessings!

    Both Keone and Mari is such an inspiration. Thank you for making this documentary for not only to all dancers in the world, but to all people who want to take care of their body as well. Because this documentary taught a lot of how to take care of your body and the most important thing is to changing your mindset. Once again thank you K&M.

    I wonder and I do believe the general public at large wonders....why do dancers put themselves through what they endure? We all see the splendor of your dance, yet we do not as a public endorce, apreciate or fund it. Why go through with it?
    You have to, cause it's your art, your craft, your gift to other people who do not themselves dance.
    Physical poetry for those not creative enough to see themselves in tights or doing a plié . Mostly it's just the pure NEED to move.
    Although underfunded...WE LOVE IT! GIVE ME MORE!

Though I'm not technically trained, I am apart of the dance ministry at my church and it means so much to me. I really want to be able to carry out each assignment that the Lord gives me and if I don't take care of my body then I won't be able to do it with excellence. Thank you.

    I got a problem with training my body. i want to have that dancer's body which is lean and long but i also want to have the athlete's strength without too much muscle. Let's be real you gotta lose strength if you want a lean and long body not lose a lot of strength but not as much an athlete has. I dance and train calisthenics the same time, i love my strength but don't want the bulky build. I want that Spider-man body type. Only ectomorphs won't have a problem having a bulky build doing both. I'm Kinda similar to Lazar Novovic's body structure though not as lean.

    • @Ninjacob00
      @Ninjacob00 7 лет назад +5

      Well have you ever heard of "wiry" strength? It's essentially having the lean look but holding lots of strength behind it despite not having as much mass. A perfect example of this is Bruce Lee. So for your training go for the lean build but train your muscles under HIIT or High interval intensity training as well as weight training with negative counts to build strength without looking too bulky
