I can't prove if it's either. I'd like to see a working model of our Earth where water sticks to a ball instead of, from my perspective, it needs to be contained.

@NarrowboatWill Ah that's good it wasn't anything inside. I remember being in the car to a car show and smelling a burning clutch....we were all worried then. But it turned out to be outside from another car. Hmmm no they are not....not when Keith shouts out trainspotters in a NarrowboatWill's voice 🤣😂

When I was on the Thames at Henley. There was a plaque on the wall with flood marker from 1841 I think it was much higher. Still, it's bloody scary. I don't why people risk staying on..😬

Hi will i see that the towpaths are nothing more than muddy tracks . Yet again . Years ago boaters used to empty the ashes from the fire on them to keep the mud down a bit..
Unfortunately those days are long gone.... people who use the towpaths always moan about them but do nothing to put them right .. .I had many people who said that the council should do something about it.???? When you explain that it is not down to the council to repair them ..but it's down to the c.r.t . make the nesecery repairs .a look of puzzlement used to appear on their faces...many were under the impression that it cost nothing to live on a narrow boat . and it was free of charge..
Many times I was told to get a job and to stop living on benefits..???
Obviously I told them to turn up at 5 30 am and accompany me to work..I always said that they might get home at 9 30 pm. Six days a week..
Being self employed . you have to plan for the future.. especially today. But to be honest I would not change a thing if I had the chance to live my life over again...
Once you have experienced life on the canals ..you will find that you miss all the days you had spent on the canals of this country ..
You won't care about the weather ..you won't care about .struggling to move your boat..or the fact that you could run out of fuel.food and water .if you are not careful..
But the main thing that you will miss is the sense of freedom that the canals give you where else can you move home . If you get fed up with the views...
Just by turning on the engine .and untying the ropes...?????
Anyway will what else can I say about the videos you put out other than brilliant .. you never disappoint . what I really like is the fact that you show people the up side and the downside .
When it comes to living on a narrow boat. Which is a eye opener for many would be narrow boaters...I have watched many videos from people who have a tendency to skirt around the harsh reality of narrow boat life. Anyway will keep warm and dry .. safe and well . And it's a filthy thumbs up 👍👍👍👍.. from me.

Will I am only stating the truth as I see it for over sixty years I have watched the decline of the standards of the canal system . from the towpaths to the lock's .
They are in need of repair ..I noticed that the other day on the Oxford canal.. which came as a bit of a shock to me..I have never seen so much mud and dog crap .as was visible on a small section of the towpath .. what is wrong with people pick it up . because the next time they walk down the path they are bound to tread on some.
Anyway will . things can only get better for boaters . I sometimes wonder why the boat hire companies have not started to complain about state of the paths and locks . surly.
It must be putting people off from taking a narrow boat holiday..on one of our canals.
