This game still is a masterpiece.
IMO the best maps in the series. Especially for RUSH. Op Metro, Seine Crossing, and Grand Bazaar!! Spent way too many hours playing this game.

I remember being a medic during conquest on Grand Bazaar spam reviving people getting thousands of points & not caring about winning at all lol.

Was the same with me on conquest operation metro had them pinned in the spawn was support went up 3 lvls from ammo
How about the EOD bot ,. Have a friend damaging it with their tool and you are repairing it at the same time.. lol
This is what REALLY bothers me... When this game first came out everyone was criticizing it, the same with BF4. Yet here we are talking about how good it is. This kind of garbage is what developers like Dice think twice about making decisions on games. Dont tell me it has changed and this and that because NO it hasn't. This is why people keep playing games like Counter Strike because of the consistency. Anyway it blows to see this because i know we'll be doing the same for BFV.

Best Battlefield game in terms of Gunplay,TTK,Atmosphere,HUD Elements,Map Design,Sound Effects & the actual unique character this game had on its own (maybe the blue filter and the suppression gave it its own character,personally I loved it),and made it stand out from other fps games.
Jim Jim Especially the chose of music and soundtrack. I get nostalgic feelings when I hear such ones as Solomon’s Theme, good times...
I know people complained about the blue filter, but tbh, i actually really like it. It makes the visuals look very unique.
Only issue I had with the game was that you would get marked on the map if you fired your gun. God bless 'hardcore' mode on this game

I'd say BF4 is essentially an upgraded BF3, so personally I'd say BF4 is easily the best.

Bf3 had the best maps hands down. The aftermath expansion maps were still some of the best maps i have ever played on.

Good times in BF3. Playing on high ticket servers with conquest games lasting more than an hour and at the end, no matter if you win or lose. You felt satisfied. Operation Firestorm. Top of the Mountain. Staring off to the distance as the last ticket bleeds. BF3 forever!

Nothing will ever come close to the sound of grenades going off near you and rockets screaming past your head in BF3
The sound in this game was amazing. The sound of the tanks machine guns, the explosions, the dialogue. Perfection.
BF4 definitely has better sound, but this is good too
BFBC2 and BF3 sounds are the best Dice has ever created. The SKS in that game just sounded so beast.

Rush on Grand Bazaar was so much fun. I remember that team mates actually used to PTFO. Nothing was more satisfying than being on your last few tickets, then Arming both MCOMS, that countdown was intense until you manage to proceed to the next set. ♥️

i got a refund for BF5, its rubbish and i have had all BF games from 1942
I'd argue BF1 did the same thing. I think the franchise peaked from BBC2 to BF3 to BF4. All those games were amazing. I mean BF1 was good it just didn't hook me the same way. I didn't even bother to purchase or play BFV so I couldnt give an opinion on gameplay.
I didn't start playing BF3 till about 8 months ago. Just go a PC setup around the time the Destiny 2 PC beta was available and BF3 was the first game I purchased. Only have a couple dozen hours sunk into it, but am going back after watching this feeling and remember how good it is.

BF3 was a huge departure of the temabased BF, thou. It was faster, more focused on solo-rushing and so on. BFV is more "BF" in several regards, but again, Battlefield shifted strongly with the release of BF3.

And lets not forget the best DLC ever: "End Game"

I'm a cat? Stop lying. The game without blue filter is just a poor version of BF4 then. It should be kept, as that made the game look a bit more cinematic and dramatic with all the explosions and colors of it. It was immense action! I loved it. Without the tint it’d be boring looking.
Just compare Operation Metro from BF3 and BF4. I like the BF3 version more just because of the color theme/blue tint. Looks intense with the explosions going on and bullet tracing through the air. BF4 looks just darker and stale in comparisson. Perfect for campers in dark corners of the stairway.
End game was Bf4 tho.

In bf3 suppression works on everyone but in BF4 it's picky and doesn't work.i will take bf3 suppression over BF4 all day any day.
At least it works in a uniform manner.
As for blue tint I love it.

This mod will make BF3 as an open-source game with many custom gamemodes (project reality, world war 2, ...), graphic upgrades (better resolution...), custom maps and much more features that everyone would like to see. I'm sure it will make this game alive again and probably better than new copy-paste Battlefields!

If anyone wants to hear a cool fact about Battlefield 3. There's at least one huge mod coming up which will provide probably stuff like our own servers, color correction and in the future also new weapons, animations and maps. It's called Venice Mod and soon it'll have 1.0 release.
And also Project Reality for Battlefield 3 is in W.I.P.

I loved the blue tint, over the top sun glare, heavy blurring when suppressed, bright flashlights, snipers camping, op stinger and everything about this game is just so perfect and i love everything about it

BF3 will always be my favorite game of the franchise. The maps of that game were perfect. The gun balance was on par. And the over-dramatic screen shacking when explosives go of was my favorite. It all around felt very immersive for me and I will always have fond memories.

God this is a trip down memory lane I sunk so many hours into this game.
Still one of my favourite games of all time.
Loved the single player campaign too.
The early games were much more like sims than the arcade stuff they produce today. You could flip to hardcore mode and really immerse yourself in the environment. You really didn’t mind or gripe about the lack of polish like getting hung on the environment. You didn’t have to rummage through a purse. Nobody complained about weapons being overpowered. You weren’t starved for ammo. You just fought other players and had a blast.
The community is still strong even on 360

everyone please just make it all the more obvious that mass majority of the core battlefield player base absolutely loves bf3 it is perfection and the fact that a previous installment from like 7 years ago is better than what we’ve been getting is sad and the complete opposite effect should happen, instead we have a massive downgrade in the franchise with bf1 and bfv. make it more known that dice needs to realize what they were back with bf3 and how it is basically the best battlefield game (it shouldn’t be but it is)

Game is on sale on origin with all the DLC for 10 bucks USD. I totally swooped that up I havent played since the 360. Loved this battlefield to this day.
