This is my favorite gacha ever, i dont even thinking about it and beside some good gachas last 5 years, the fact that still going on is already impressive.
People have been predicting EOS ever since the Persona 5 collab 😅 I get where you're coming from and it's good to enjoy the game as is in the moment and not worry about EOS. I still think people are actually way too accepting about EOS meaning that the game is just "gone" and can never be played again, rotting away on some harddrive in a forgotten archive. This does not happen in other media. Books don't disappear when the author dies, music doesn't, films and tv shows generally don't. It's just this subsection of online connected games that go poof. And it doesn't have to be this way. Mega Man X Dive Offline and Little Noah used to be gacha games and then got converted to quite succesful offline versions for Steam after their EOS. Destiny Child made a "memorial" version of their game (not sure how extensive that one is). There are always options and games disappearing shouldn't be accepted as fact. I'm a bit more invested when it comes to Alchemy Stars because it's the only gacha game I can consistently just "play" and not auto-and-forget. Something about connecting tiles is just very enjoyable and doesn't get old 😂So I would really miss the gameplay because there's only one similar game and it's not even close in variety and complexity.
AS is definitely a unique game when it comes to the gameplay, and ik EOS has been talked about forever. I personally don't think it will end soon. I'm just addressing people's concerns and telling them to just enjoy the game. Since the game is in a dry period, people tend to get scared. Also, I don't think they would make an offline version for ppl. we still don't have a proper pc port for global that isn't dmm+vpn. (We have the Google pc beta, but that thing runs BAD, for AS). I just hope they do some kind of overhaul to various game modes like Desolation Codex, Abyss, and Secret Territory.
Omg fellow ex-Destiny Child player... I'm glad Shift-Up managed to make memorial offline(?) version of the game and I managed to register my account for that... I hope if AS does EOS, TD will make a memorial offline version of the game too. It would be a big waste for the game to be gone completely...
I remember jumping onto to this game because (first of all) Volkin's gacha game recommendation (along side with dislyte but he quit both of those games), and now I am stuck because I just cannot leave this amazing gacha game with a unique combat mechanic and also interesting story! I just hope this game will keep going until the finale of its story. But, the end is inevitable, it was a good run everyone o7.
Nooo I am playing AS since release and fell in love with it. I commuted so much time and unfortunately money but only cause I’m so passionate about it please don’t kill my fav game 😭😭😭❤❤
I mean it's important to remember this is just speculation and not concrete... it very well may have a long life ahead of it still, but things have slowed down significantly which could mean big plans or it could mean a potential EOS, it's a tossup which it will be, which is why you should just enjoy it while ya have it. No sense worrying about what is inevitable for all live service games eventually. Even FGO, gacha titan that it is, is gonna end eventually.
I have noticed for a while that there has been a slow in how things get fixed. I think the slow down is a good ideal to get things caught up and mabye come back stronger that ever (finger crossed)
A little thing I'd like to add: apparently in the CN server, they're at the point where they're supposed to add Cloud Gardens. No hints when it's actually going to be released, but they are giving away items like wood (but not the wood we have, some improvised version of it) which hints that it's going to be released soon. So, I think behind the scenes, the team is actually focusing on optimizing Cloud Gardens and not on the other aspects of the game. Doesn't justify the bugs, but I do think it explains the slow vibes/events. Plus, they're going slow (less new characters) while waiting for CN server to catch up.
They did some aweful decisions that alienated majority of their fanbase. Especially that garden update that made problems for mid range phone users. I honestly don't feel sorry to game studios losing money making mobile games much harder to access with their unoptimized mess for the middle class. Blue Archive struggled at first but look at it now with their QoLs and big fandom. Alchemy Stars had great ideas but fumbled it.
The vpn I usually use stopped letting me choose japan as the location, does anyone know a vpn that lets you choose japan? I searched a lot but couldn't find any and I wanna continue playing the game on the pc client
Was wondering why do I get this in recommended? But also why does the gameplay & character looks familiar? Oh, this is the game from the latest Call of Duty Mobile collab. That's why...
It isn't ending, it probably has a year or 2 more before EOS, but they are gonna take things like events a bit more slow. just have fun playing the game while it's still here
There are bad gacha games, but alchemy stars was more like a scam than a real game, but now the good news is official, this garbage is shutdown. It could have ended earlier and scam less people, but now just be happy because it finally ending.

Staying with this game until the storyline concluded, after all I love Vice
Me too... I can't leave a story I'm interested in. It has to be finished, they're just starting to get to the more interesting part!
@@galaxysilver69 yeah, I hope they don't rush it, but I also don't want to wait long for each update
Came here after someone datamined the EOS notice of Alchemy star
Here after official notice :(
Alchemy stars is one of my fravorite gacha game i will stick with it until the end

So have I, and I also don't want it to end. But if it does, it was fun while it lasted. I feel it at least has another year or two in it

Oh no, not the cloud garden 😭
@@Z.zatchul yeah, hahaha. But I hope it will get better with optimizations? hahaha
Well that's a pity how do you get a chance to NPC jail character like nagi merylt the demon girl
I don't remember when was the last time i play actively. Probably after sheol patch. And i didn't even unlock revy's outfit yet 😭
If you log in right now, you could get some pulls 😏
@Z.zatchul i did, almost everyday. But only for daily quests

The end is near? Nah, the end is here.
Lol. The funniest thing would be that after they just announced the EOS for the mainland version, we get an announced for 3.5 anni

End of service confirmed via datamine. Sleep tight.
It was officially announced not too long ago
For CN server, not global. But global has non news in a couple weeks...
Yeah, it might be a news announcement next week
