Minny Love was a legit All-NBA caliber player and one of the best bigs in the league. An all-time great rebounder, an efficient scorer out of the post, who could also pass and shoot middies and threes at a good clip. His defense was subpar but he wasn't a liability on that end (at least in an era without today's level of switching and pullup shooting). I remember him, Blake, and LMA as the best PFs in the league around 2012-2014.
A lot of people only started watching him in Cleveland after he slimmed down, and playing as a third option took away half his offensive game while highlighting his defensive weaknesses. They never got to see this version of him, his vacuum machine rebounding, full face-up game, or high-post passing. Only the slow-footed spotup big man getting roasted by speedy guards. It's easy to think that he was always that player and not much more.
He wasn't. Any Timberwolves fan will tell you that much. I don't think history will be kind to Kevin Love, but at least I know what his peak looked like. The heart and soul of an era in Minnesota, dominating bygone times that will never come back. I miss the guy a lot.

compare NHL NFL NBA and baseball tickets to a ticket to watch a football match in europe.
you pay between 30-100 depending on the stadium in europe and get an average seat
whats a cheap ticket in the nba..... 300$ ? they seat you at the top in the back row
resale tickets are like 40-200$ a beer is 5-12$ parking is 5-25$

The real change really happened around 2017-2018, after Curry and the Warriors proved to the world that a jumpshooting team with a score first point guard could be a contender every year, that’s when all the league started shooting way more 3´s, averaging more points, using Small Ball lineup and when almost all the Top 10 players were guards/wings (Bron, Curry, Kd, Harden, Kawhi, Westbrook, Dame ..), that’s also when old players like Kobe, Duncan, KG, Dirk, Wade, Tony Parker ect retired so it’s only been like 5 years that’s why i find it funny when people say things like Lebron played in a sift era when he played since 2003, in the lowest scoring era with the slowest pace against prime Kobe, Duncan, KG, Dirk, Wade, Iverson, Steve Nash, Dwight Howard, Jason Kidd, Ray Allen, Paul Pierce, Ben Wallace, Chauncey Billups ect

Kevin Love played with a true pass first player in Rubio and was a first time ballot hofmer. He went to play with a fake pass first player in LeBron and now he might not make it to the Hof. Lol

K Love reach Duncan status on the T-Wolves, dude was putting up great numbers on high efficiency every night and it just became the norm so people weren’t talking about it much lol

its sad that Twolves wasted this mans prime years.. Sad to see then a organization fails the common basics to surround their best player with good role players
