Honestly, Huey feels like a fortunate choice to use for the harder cups in Professional, since his top speed stat is above-average. His turning and weight are neutral, like Mickey and Donald, and while his acceleration is below average like Goofy and Pete, at least it isn't abysmal compared to that of Ludwig, who has such weak acceleration and turning, combined with his very high weight, and Ludwig is unusually fast since he possesses the highest possible top speed stat, (which makes it easier for the earlier cups) but the harder cups' tracks can be too much for even Ludwig to handle, especially Frantic Finale, which could be proved nearly impossible due to how abysmal his acceleration and turning stats are despite him having superb weight and top speed, considering he accelerates VERY slowly and turns VERY wide.
Ludwig wasn’t completely designed for this cup especially Texas, Ludwig being the fastest character in the game but also the lowest in Accel and Steering.
@@apagan0075 It would be crazy if there would ever be a speedrun on all cups with only Ludwig on the professional difficulty. It would be like a true challenge expert players would be forced to do, especially considering that Frantic Finale's tracks aren't specifically made for a character with such low turning, acceleration and superb weight, as only Huey would be a very fortunate choice on this cup thanks to his above average top speed, middling weight and equal turning, not to mention that his acceleration stat isn't really as abysmal as Ludwig's.
Ludwig is near-impossible for the harder cups on Professional, especially Frantic Finale, since the tracks in this cup can be a little too much even for Ludwig's subpar handling and acceleration, combined with his superb weight and top speed. Good thing Huey is a fortunate choice for those cups, since he has above average top speed and middling weight and turning, and an additional plus for him is that while his acceleration stat is the same as Goofy's and Pete's, it's not really as abysmal as Ludwig's in comparison.@@apagan0075
Ngl, Ludwig is like Mickey's Speedway USA's version of Krunch, since both racers have speed and weight as their biggest strengths while their acceleration and turning are their biggest weaknesses
So what were your opinions on Ludwig overall? (like on competitive play, pro play, etc.) For me, I had gotten mixed feelings toward this fellow due to him being OP for top speed but barely controllable because of his slow wide turning (even when using drifting and braking) and abysmal acceleration, not to mention him being extremely heavy which can affect his speed greatly when turning without using the drift mechanic (even heavier than both Goofy and Big Pete in comparison)
He's pretty much a double-edged sword. You have the best speed in the game, but you're sacrificing some much accel and steering. He's like a Krunch 2.0 in a way, but designed for the player that managed to learn the mechanics alongside giving it a challenge. Ludwig will always dominate in simple tracks, but tracks like Texas is what puts him in a worse spot.
Now that you mention it, I think an all-cup tour on Professional difficulty with only Ludwig could be quite an interesting challenge. Would be surprised to see how it actually went if you should upload a video of it on RUclips

Genuinely surprised at how difficult this game seems to be, well played

@@Scrat-rs5ud Clearing all cups is alright but I'm not into speedrunning

Hats off to you for clearing what i thought was practically impossible.
That 3rd race is painful for him

@Scrat-rs5ud All Cup seems beatable. The problem is the last cup taking more time than the others.
And for a final touch, should you add in the bloopers and outtakes (failed attempts) of this run at the end of the video?
If you could've been able to hit Mickey with that baseball chucker you would've gotten 1st place in Colorado
possibly, the big problem in Colorado is the Stormy Weather spam
