I still cannot understand why some people have a pet hate with these guys, they have some good songs, they play well, they have a good presentation. I have been a metalhead since I was born, in my forties and believe me, they have quality, and if they sound similar to other bands that is called influences, bands like people are influenced by other people and bands and that is natural. Just enjoy the music, in 100 years we will all be dead.
Who hates on them? Probably black metal "purists" :D I think they are one of more creative bands in bm scene today. Saw them this summer in a small club, great show. Same with Groza. Read some really bad reviews on Encyclopedia Metallum, listen to some songs on YT, seemed pretty good to me. Then went to see them in small club. That was one of better bm shows I've seen last year. Great atmosphere & sound.

Djinn, the first track, is one of the greatest metal songs ever written, but it comes through way better in a dark, smoke-filled bar. One of my top bands for sure!
i agree. Tho when i saw them in cremona in july, they cast and brought clouds to obscure the sun that was blasting heatwaves upon us and i can assure you it felt amazing. After their show the clouds dissolved leaving place to the sun again. It was something magikal

Purists hate Melodic Black at some point.
This new wave of black metal of Uada alongside Groza, Gaerea and Mgla is a refreshing on the criativity they put on the traditional sound of black
