I’m strumming along an E and a C and I think, hey that sounds like Think Air! I look you up and there it is. Then I get to learn the fun lead part and that makes me happy. Love your videos.
Thank you! Thank you! Thank you! So much more than I could have asked for with that lesson. The Benaroya Hall recording is totally what got me to look into this song - funny! Thanks for breaking it down and not editing out your mistakes - helps me feel better about all the mess-ups I make. Truly appreciate it! \m/
I didn't realise how simple song it was before I watched this video. It is so incredible how Pearl Jam can make the simpliest things sound so sophisticated.... Love that band forever. BTW, thanks for another great tutorial. I love that song more now too. 😝
i love it when i get stuck in a song. doesn't happen all that much to me any more, but it did yesterday, and it was such a good time :) I'm glad you have that with Thin Air :)
Awsome Mr. Lendt like always!!!!can you please show us hoy yo play The Classic Jeremy? I saw in other channels but you explain how to play it so much easy!
Amazing, thank you so much for this video, right when I saw it, coincidentally when I was playing my guitar, I had to learn this! Such and amazing song and I think that this one would be great for those play along videos you sometimes do. Thanks again, you rock!
Amazing like always! You think for your next video you can teach Jeremy, no one can seem to get the tabs spot on and from what I see you do great at figuring things out.
Thanks Harrison! Not next, but soon :) I've spent a bit of time on Jeremy and have it mostly worked out, I just need to gather my thoughts on how to say it, ya know :) Plus I'm moving across the country in 12 days so I don't have a whole ton of brain space at the moment :)
Great lesson. Interesting cord combo. I like when musicians do something different and “C” “E” you don’t see every day. I really like your Taylor guitar also 👍
Once again a great lesson Ryan! I've noticed the 'grandma always brings' mnemonic quite a few times in your videos: do you have a lesson about this? Thanks again :)
I do. I can't really explain it, I've just taught guitar full time for 15 years so I just recognize notes just as you would look at a tree and recognize a tree. Of course I'm not always right, but I get better and better as time goes on (I hope) :)
Man I love to watch your videos, even when I'm not into the song (it's not a case here, I'm always into Pearl Jam songs). My small suggestion for future song, something on a little heavy side, Phantom Limb from Alice In Chains.
I can't believe anyone didn't like this video......congratulations man, another fantastic class.
thanks Roni.

woohoo!
So much fun to watch and learn! Not just a lesson. I watch because you are entertaining as well. So fun!
Thank you so much Julie :) I really appreciate you being here!

you're very welcome! I had a blast learning that song :)
Best line ever that only Pearl jam fans would know......."Pulled a benaroya hall" ........-"there was no getting away with that one"
Benaroya hall was still an amazing concert regardless!
hehe thanks for noticing :)

that's exactly the thing, half the time PJ sounds complex but is simple, and the other half they sound simple but it's complex. tricky dogs!
Can’t stop playing and singing this one since watching this video. Always great stuff man. Hope We get a bunch of PJ dates in 19!
i love it when i get stuck in a song. doesn't happen all that much to me any more, but it did yesterday, and it was such a good time :) I'm glad you have that with Thin Air :)
Such a beautiful song. Great lesson as always my friend
Thank you, Daisy's dad

Thank you mister shoe :) I will do Jeremy. I can't wait to do Jeremy. I can't do Jeremy until I move :)
Perfect day to double up on the acoustic PJ lessons. Sounds awesome, too!
*and RUclips actually made a sensible suggestion for once 👍
thin air is so fun to play with that little stone lick in the middle!
I love this song!! Thanks for the lesson.
you're very welcome Paul!

No no Mark, YOU rock :)
You’re dynamo Ryno! This was my next song to work on! Your fans have great taste 👌
hehe Dynamo :) I like it. Thanks Gareth :)
Awesome this sounds so good, looking forward to trying this one!
well NOW I CANT forget your name...
Amazing like always! You think for your next video you can teach Jeremy, no one can seem to get the tabs spot on and from what I see you do great at figuring things out.

I really like your Taylor guitar also 👍
that taylor is a really special entity. I'll tell her you said so :) Yeah, so many major chords in that song that's hard to do!
Love this song, great tutorial!
Thanks Connor :)
I'm back on this, forgot about it... love it. Having a ball (trying to) play it : )
is this like a volleyball sized ball or more like a billiards size? I need to know all the information before I commit to any kind of response
additionally, are you like, having a ball as in having one for dinner, or as in you are giving birth to it?
All the chord changes are hurting so maybe it's like giving birth?
Once again a great lesson Ryan! I've noticed the 'grandma always brings' mnemonic quite a few times in your videos: do you have a lesson about this? Thanks again :)
no - maybe I should... thanks Sander!
I love it, thanks Ryan!
you're welcome Chris!
Ryan, do you learn songs by ear? If yes - how do you do it?? Thank you very much, love your videos!
I do. I can't really explain it, I've just taught guitar full time for 15 years so I just recognize notes just as you would look at a tree and recognize a tree. Of course I'm not always right, but I get better and better as time goes on (I hope) :)
Muito bom!
thank you tiro :)

Thank you for that David :)! Phantom Limb on the list!
Hello!! I love your videos!!! You rock!!!
Thanks Joaquim! You rock even more!!
Hey Ryan you’re not gonna stop making videos when you get to Philly right?
On the contrary... I'm going to make MORE videos - I'm retiring you know! lol
You sir are an absolute badass

Agrabah is where Alladhin is from but in the original book/story it was Baghdad.

Need it zoomed in on chords. Slow down a bit too plz
Thanks for the feedback friend :)
I just haven't written, 'My request in every Pearl Jam song' yet.
did you just request every pearl jam song? :P
Ryan Lendt Perhaps 😉
Never thought that I would say this to a guy
Nice beaver..........
