@ Nana Ahmed, Salam Sister, know that when committing a sin, normally a person is completely conscious of his or her actions. Such cases, you must repent immediately without any delays. If the sin has happened without his or her knowledge, still repentance is a must, a usual practice is to make dua after every obligatory prayer. There is severe punishment from Allah (SWT), it would be wise to make Dua or beg for His Mercy to reduce the punishment kept for him or her. As to where they will be gone even after stoning, as said by this Scholar Mufti & others, they will reach the point of meeting their Lord (Allah), receive the judgment and will be admitted to Paradise by Allah, if the person has never done Shirk. So keep repenting and making Dua to Allah till you breath.
