That was surprisingly good for a pasta involving space!
For some reason most of those are usually full of hair raising BS (like stating the ISS belongs to NASA or assumptions about space or science in general, that show the author didn't even bother to do a quick google search about the topic they were writing about), that completely breaks immersion for me. But here, all was left vague enough for that not to happen and connected to some actual events and playing into a similarly vague conspiracy theory.
Really well written story! Makes me curious what the author does in the future!

When I saw a new post I hit the play button without thought. Lighthouse Horror and the Moon, two of my favorite things. When I was 2, Grandmom bought me the Moon after some joking among my parents and grandparents. I was asked if I wanted her to buy me the Moon, and I said yes. At that age you don't understand things like adults do; you just know if your favorite people say something is true, it is. My parents were relived that I didn't want to bringing my Moon inside, I just wanted to say goodnight before bedtime. Many years later the family still calls it Nicole's Moon, because Grandmom bought it for me and you don't question her word.

This is amazing! Normally, the moon or the celestial entities in charge of it are normally portrayed as a beautiful goddess.. Interesting that in this story, it's man, for a change.. Reminds me so much of the Japanese god of the moon, Tsukuyomi.. 😊
I guess I understand why the moon said that humanity isn't ready to venture into space.. We may be driven by curiosity at first, then by ambition, obsession, then by greed.. I guess the moon knows that we could end our race as we know it, if we are given knowledge beyond what we can understand.. or shown things far bigger and greater than our own existence as humans..
This story is actually thought provoking and again, triggered my existential crisis.. 😅 Space stories often do that to me.. This, coupled with LH's amazing narration as usual, made my day.. Thank you!

I dunno why the assumption that aliens are better than us is so prevalent. It is self hate probably.
Aliens might as well be total xenophobes, hating different species and actively destroying them. They might be as well religious fanatics, seeing other inteligent life as unholy and requiring purging, or as it was shown in "To serve man", they might see us a cattle, and eat us. Yes, to develop star travel a society must be united, preferably on a planetary scale, as the expenditure of resources, and knowledge for such project is so great, but we should not assume that such unity could happen only around something good. Aliens might we peace loving, democratic humanitarian hippies, but as well they might be united under an authoritarian rule, being said xenophobes, on a religious crusade, or a militaristic society. They might have a completely different set of values.

Some people have believed this because during occultations of the moon, you can watch certain stars and planets like Venus pass behind it, as in, a particularly bright star is moving across the night sky, it's about to be hidden behind the moon(occultation), you're tracking it with a telescope, and as it moves behind the moon, you can see it _through_ the moon, and track it till it comes out the other side. It makes the moon appear translucent.
There's an explanation for this, but I don't remember the reason.

That was very well written and narrated. I never believed that we were able to land on the moon when we were still so technologically unadvanced. Not sure I would believe that we could do it now. There were enough truths in this story that make it eerily believable, almost. I really enjoyed listening to this. TY!

Oh wow a moon story I haven't heard yet!
This is a great story and very well done. I've heard the rumor about astronauts being warned off the moon, I'd love to know if tere's any trurh to it.
I wish moon dust wasn't such a hazard irl.
I love that I was born in such an intetesting year but I wish my first memory of televisiion was the moon landing instead of the Manson trial.

I loved the literacy talents used in this video. It's very imaginative and provoking our understanding to humanity being involved in universal exploration. I don't believe that the Moon landing was a set up. However, there are life forces to these elementals and celestial bodies and that is real. Loved the video ❤❤ Far out!!!

I never bought into that flat earth stuff till I saw that lebron interview.
he said 'if the earth is round, then why don't basketballs roll off?' really makes one think
people just think the earth is flat because they can only see one side at a time but it is actually a cube.
A hollow cube. HOLLOW CUBE EARTH THEORY!
now the sun, of course, is flat. the moon, which is a giant nanobot, is obviously concave, but that is a story for another time.
