The annoying thing about Tzeentch in WH3 is that fighting AI Tzeentch actually feels like fighting Tzeentch should, but fighting as Tzeentch against the AI they can react perfectly to your tricks.
Perfect dodging to any bombardment. Your unit shits the bed as soon as you try to order focus fire. Since AI cheese pretty much all of your changing of ways are useless. Piss poor replenishment rate so you either cheese or afk forever 🙄
@@Laucron I cant imagine playing tzeentch without a good infinite wind caster. The T5 units cant even make use of their spells even with infinite winds already. They really need to buff lords of change before nerfing winds of magic. Otherwise i'd grow sick from spamming blue horrors/pink horrors forever. And attacking siege with tzeentch units is an absolute bore. Especially with crap horror AI compared to khorne's melee units that cuts through anything like butter.

The problem is, you normally need to cast "real" spells using WoM to cast those bombardments, meanwhile AI just spams them whenever they want. They need to play the same game as player. I don't know why they are so stubborn about this for 2 and a half decades.

I am not a codder or whatever but I don't see it impossible, at least they could try on Alpha version and get youtubers and streamers to try if it's bugged or working. They are doing this intentionally.
this is why i main tzeentch and confederate saraethal watchers asap lol. But then when you play as tzeentch you now have to deal with abysmal replenishment and changing of ways being much less effective vs cheating AI.
I really lament the gaminess of this series. I love TWW, but wish players didn't have to account for random/broken/ridiculous mechanics that stem from the added scope. It's not 2 armies outmaneuvering one another, it's often 1 army playing around bullshit hidden mechanics.
Tbf with TWW it was always more about bullshitting with magic or bringing the best single entity than actually outmaneuvering other armies. It's just that the AI will always be better at bullshitting

Belakor is really good at taking out SEs and other monstrous units. If he gets more skills/traits really improving his magic abilities and maybe some general faction buffs Luke factionwide growth or winds of magic power reserve, maybe some buffs to soul grinders if he has access to them, i reckon he'd be a top tier Legendary Lord
When legend cheats to win by handicapping the ai. Using the “control large army” toggle is just that. That toggle was meant for slower computers that could not deal with large amounts of units, not as a tactical advantage. It’s so frustrating to see.
@@valentintihenea therefore people could use smaller unit sizes... "control large army" is just also there for tactical use in my opionion. If you dont think so, then "lightning strike" is also a big cheat for the player. The game mechanics are there for being used as the player is pleased by them.
That is one of the reasons why i don't play TWWH3 anymore, and why i won't untill this kind of shit is sorted. They took warhammer 2, stripped it from all that was funny and enjoyable, replaced it with pure pain and agony, and there you go... A game isn't fun because you cannot do anything and always end up bitch slapped whenever it is possible, if i want to feel that i can always go to a BDSM dungeon, but a game is fun when it has fair rules and sends you a decent and coherant challenge YOU CAN OVERCOME, not an always "hey player, i know you would LOVE to do some cool shennanigans but nope, it is only for the AI, for you it is just unfair suffering!"
Maybe they should have a cap of how often the AI can use it, depending on the winds of that army, then reducing enemy winds would be useful against that
I think I'm just gonna play wh2 from now on, 1.1 did nothing besides bring workshop and that's not enough to keep me playing. Too many bugs too much shit like this were the AI can spam 10+ army abilities that the player would only get maybe Max 3 of if they used the same army. It's just unfun to play right now. I landed on marching around against tzeentch with three stacks of autoresolve BS. This endless Bombardments are just to annoying. Alternatevly single unit monster Spam. Tzeentch manages to singlehandedly nullify one of the things i actually liked in WH3: making mixed armys more valuable.
Wrong, in 2 there is a VCounts vs Empire SYDB where Legend cheesed Balthasar Gelt to spend all of his magic on zombie summons, and he did stop to use spells
I played through most of the Kislev campaign for TWW3 and I am slightly disappointed, the game feels unfinished without regiments of renown and with very few mods. I think it's really still in beta until immortal empires and DLC/FLC and workshop content is done.
I cant Recall any total Game that was less fun for me at Launch and that includes rome2, Thrones and Empire. Nothing about this Game Sparks my interest. Minor settlements? Ruined by towerdefence New Factions? Boring and terrible Designed, but hey atleast We can build outposts so we can Play with some cool Units 👍😜 New Campain? Makes me miss the Vortex🌀 But atleast they nerfed Magic, i guess it was to much fun in WH2🤣.
Tzeench's faction mechanics are just stupid, to begin with. Stealing a settlement outright, especially, gives them too much of an advantage. I could see swapping territories. Either way, it should cost money or something valuable. Halting factions, as well- It should incur a per-unit cost. The way it is now is just bullshit, and other factions should at least be afforded the opportunity to immunize themselves against such cheap tricks, not to mention Slaanesh stealing units from other armies. There should be a weighted loyalty save to roll against in order successfully do stuff like that.

CA removed some melee cheats but added every other cheat they could think of for the ai

Im playing Kairos and Ogres are a slog to deal with for sure. If there is a counter to tzeentch its Ogre

When the Demon AI has unlimited summons and doesn't play by the rules, the handicap becomes fair.
