I can just imagine something like this as a full violin concerto, and honestly the thought is so wonderful. Like, the style of this piece is just amazing beyond compare, and it would be incredible seeing something on this calibre played as a concerto.
This is simply beautiful. I've listened to many versions of this piece played on the piano. But this is the first time I've seen it's played on violin and piano. Such a masterpiece.
Marvelous piece of music with virtuosity, grace, passion and fire very evident in the performance. Not just a piece to show off in - it’s has irresistible musical appeal & playfulness. Much of this in of course in the composition, but the delivery is amazing. The mystery for me is how Liszt every came up with such an amazing piece. Hand me one of the scales he worked from and I’d give you an Indian or flamenco piece. Mind you, I'm still wondering how we get so much out of 12 notes/tones.
Bravissimo! I remember playing this 25years ago...challenging yet so much fun...full of energy and passion...a very dynamic piece indeed! My favorite as well of all the classical pieces I learned!
I love it as a duet between man and woman. Body language of the song old old way don't hen peck and I won't get heavy handed with you. One of those groovy European Eurythmics things.
What an amazing performance! I feel sorry for the people who clicked dislike. If you can't appreciate this fine work of art then you need to start shopping eBay or Craigslist for a new soul because yours is obviously dead or missing.
where can i find this arragement? i found other one and i don't like it, i like this version because have interesting parts for the 2 of the instruments.
Any chance of getting the sheet music for this? It is sooooo beautiful, I'm listening for the 20th time and still can't get enough of it. I would die to play it!

No ling ling would do it
Hiba Channir ling ling is Liszt
Thats the ling ling workout
No, Liszt and Paganini would play it together and it would be the perfect duo. Liszt was inspired by Paganini to do the same for the piano (I think)

this piece make me smile, is that the intention of Liszt ?
Agharabo exactly!
that is the intention of most music...

Liszt Intention probably is making difficult music because he was bored of how easy the "difficult" music was.
