We missed you in San Felipe when you left. Thank you for these amazing video's. Beautiful adventures and great we are to keep up with you. Kisses to Oceta... Miss you guys.
We just got back on grid last night. Trip to the Observatory offroad via Mikes Sky Ranch had not been done by anyone in at least a year maybe more. We planned a day trip and it took two days. We had not even intended on camping overnight but luckily we had our house with us. Be safe and see you all soon. :)
Thanks Kevin. That spot is on iOverlander as "4x4 only Punta Final Offroad Beach" which is where I found it. I know it's not the actual point. Lots of recent tracks for a no mans zone but it sounds like you know the area. Thanks for the heads up. I will make that note on iOverlander.
We just wing it actually. If we want to stay at a site with amenities we stop, ask for availability, then negotiate. If not we wild camp which is how we spend most nights anyway.
I feel we really get treated equally down here. The other guy trying to get into Puertocitos was a Mexican National and they wanted to charge him 45 pesos to take a photo. Many places charge more than I think they should but they have a right I guess since they do own the access land. I just had an issue with this area because I was used to going for so many years without issue. Thanks for following.

that wasn't Punta Final, a lot of fishermen use that area as a launch point its a no mans zone between Rancho Grande and Punta Final

I've always wanted to do this, how do you guys pay for the site? Is there a host or do you put in reservations ahead of time and pay ahead?

500 pesos is the Gringo Tax. Man that is some sunrise footage you have there. Bay of Los Angeles is stunning
