The Steven mic was on a different level, but let's be honest for $10k you would expect that. The Blu yeti for a tenth of the cost though is an incredible piece of kit, a legend in the ASMR game and for good reason.
@@Camboge However Blue Yeti doesn't capture the direction nor distance of the sound beyond left to right. 3Dio does, although not as well as "Steven" and other proper dummy head binaural mics.

i usually have a hard time noticing big differences between mics, but WOW this really showed how well made steven is. absolutely ZERO backround noise, and the sound quality difference was just nuts even compared to the $1000 mic id rank them like this (best to worst) steven, everything is just 10/10 the $200 mics are actually very nice for the price 3dio, i thought it would be better but honestly the sounds are more muffled idk why next id put the blue yeti pro. decent everything but only decent, nothing insane. great for the price, however its a bit louder on the right side which i have a big pet peeve for LOL $1 mic, i know this is gonna be a shocker but youll get why in the next one $600. i dont know why but theres a rlly ear piercing sound constantly going on with these, might just be settings but it actually hurts to listen to after a little bit
You're right, there absolutely is a high pitched whine with the $600. But... I... Kind of like it??? Not to say it'll be pleasant for everyone but, idk, I just liked it.
@@thestrangemusician168 Absolutely, that's the reason I won't watch a certain very popular ASMRtist. Always with the Zoom h6 and it hurts my ears. Also some sounds are very loud and other barely audible. It's jarring.
@@thestrangemusician168 almost every Jo-Jo video has white noice in the background. That’s the reason why I cannot listen to this, it is horrible for my ears
I never use earbuds to listen to ASMR cuz I always lose them but damn, using them for the first time in a while and listening to Steven gave me tingling sensations across the entire body.
Ngl I really liked Steven it was very good quality and you don’t hear much background noise and it’s also very soothing whenever you do some sort of trigger I liked it!
Before hearing a comparison I would have just said they all bring something different to the table. Steven though is top notch! For relaxing and for tingles. Don't get me wrong I haven't met a ASMR you've done that I haven't liked but Steven definitely brings a level of WOW! Thanks for sharing your craft with us!❤❤
Yeah you don't get it until you compare all of them. Especially with the 1000 dollar one vs the 10000 dollar one. You can hear the hour glass move around your head with the 1000 dollar one, but you can practically hear where the water drips down into the other water on Steven
But the quality not the quantity, the blue yeti is always gonna be my personal favourite because it’s simple, not to expensive yet still provides that amazing quality
Wow, Steven is truly next level. Does anyone else remember when 4K TVs first launched and there was this weird feeling that it was better than your real life eyesight? That’s how I feel about Steven. It’s better than my actual hearing somehow.
5:17 This part gave me the the biggest tingle I've ever had this year. It felt like a soft nuclear tingle explosion. Long live Steven. Edit: What the heck. I never asked for these likes.
This might be kind of an unpopular opinion but: I have always really disliked the 3Dio for the way it sounds. The highs are way too pronounced while it lacks way too much oomph in the lows. It has hardly any bass, which is something that I like about the BlueYeti for example. I mean sure, the binaural effect is really nice but it just sounds so bad in my opinion, I could hardly ever enjoy any ASMR videos made with it. Now Steven 🗿my boi is a blessing to me. He sounds just perfect, the audio is so clear, the highs and lows / bass are just spot on. This is the first time I can truly enjoy a binaural microhpone like that. I am so thankful for the 10k$ you spent on that microphone to deliver the high quality content to us that we're used to. Thank you so much Jojo and stay the way you are!
Although It Hasnt Been On The Channel For Very Long, I Definitely think Steven is the best. This Isnt Because Of The Price, It is Because of the 3d sound, and having it just feel like these triggers are beening done right next to me. It Is A Very Cool Sound And Sensation.
The thing that surprised me the most is that the thumbnail is actually not click bait. All the thing that are in the thumbnail are actually in the video, good vid jojo!
This video honestly gave me a better appreciation for Steven! Compared to the other microphones, Steven’s audio is so crisp! It sounds so realistic especially with noise canceling headphones. I was skeptical at first about the 10k mic and though it was overpriced, but after this video I definitely think it was worth it 😎
I know that steven has really nice audio quality and all, but there's just something about the Zoom H6 that just sounds amazing. i can't quite say what it is but there's something about it.
Honestly, the Yeti pro is my favorite. I believe it's the perfect balance of all the ASMR mics regarding price and sound quality. "Steven" is amazing but the price is nuts! 😂 Thanks JoJo!
For me personally, I like the blue yeti best. I cant describe why, its like the mic picks up all the sounds perfectly and at the perfect spot. This might just be me though. Edit- Jojo you forgot to use the red tube on the blue yeti lol.
The $1 microphone sounded like when you stick your head under water and swim around a lot, all those noises. The $150 was nice and comforting. The $200 dollars each didn't sound any different from the Blue Yeti, but still quite nice. The $600 dollar one is great, it picks up every little sound and has a nice tone to it with minimal background noise. The one with the ears is also great, not too much of a difference in sound quality but more sound tone, it sounds more deep and like it's inside your skull. Steven sounds the clearest with next to zero background noise and it's fantastic, perfect amount of everything. My favourite is the $600 dollar one but all of them are fantastic
My ranking from worst to best: 1$ mic: I mean… do I really have to explain? 600$ Zoom: The sound itself is very good but there’s a very annoying ear piercing sound that I litterly hate, it’s like I have tinnitus. 1000$ 3dio: In my opinion the sound isn’t as good as the others but the ear tapping is very tingly. 200$ NT1A’s: Good quality but I’m not a very big fan of the binural function. It’s really extreme here because there’s just left and right. No middle ground. 150$ Blue Yeti Pro: The main go-to mic for me. Very good quality and pretty avarage. 10000$ Steven: Best quality out of all of them. Very close to tied with the blue yeti because of you cant make sounds like the witches fingers and the llamas. Still very good.
Agreed. Except I don't know what it is but the $10.000 one blows everything else out of the water. Like it's not even close. And I came in not expecting the difference to be that great.
One thing I think that makes Steven so nice is the head acts as a natural barrier for the sound, making the ear to ear movements way more noticeable and tingly. That's what I love about Rhode setups, is the mics are far away, causing a similar effect
Man the leap in presence and clarity of the Neumann is crazy! They are definitely my favorite audio company out there, I use their headphones for mixing and I wish I could spring for one of their mics. Always exceptional quality
@@Kameron-Duncan That's not fake lol this is an official RUclips artist account. If you'll notice I have autogenerated album playlists from music distribution.
All of these microphones have great sounds and great tingles but Steven🗿 is really something else with the 360• audio. This video is also really amazing and i can’t ignore the amount of effort he put into this video. Can’t thank you enough!😊
Steven is obviously the best but I like how the $1 microphone kind of brought a fishbowl effect. I still can’t get over how you even made the $1 microphone sound good
How jojo’s videos are also so entertaining, interesting and unpredictable mixed with tingly, relaxing and just great ASMR. He definitely my favourite ASMRist. Thank you for all the effort and time you put into these videos! I’m off to sleep now, cya.
I- every microphone with a sophisticated name and then boom *Steven* 🗿I started laughing so bad!! But all the triggers were amazing as always tysm for this incredible video
The $10,000 e gave me the tingles and i haven't had tingles before! That $1 nope moving that where there only price to pay is $1 That $150 nice In conclusion the $10,000 s++ tear $1 get away bin have a good day jojo and everyone else!
cost-wise and sound I still love the Yeti, But Steven had his moments where the clarity and crispness of the sound won me over. But in the end, I could get my tingles every day from just the Yeti alone.
Hearing Steven on my new headphones vs my old ones is euphoric. This is my first time hearing Steven on my new headphones and WOW is it so much different
Wow! This was so fun and relaxing! I won’t lie that $1 mic made it sound like you were farther away from “me” and a little circa 2006 home video audio lol Still relaxing in a weird way, but DAMN does Steven just shine!!! ❤️❤️
Your channel has grown a lot in so little time. I’m so happy for you. You’re the only one that makes me sleep and one of the few that gives me extreme tingles. You’re really good at this, if not the best. Btw, the Rode NT1A’s and (obviously) the Steven microphone had the best sounds imo.
I love how the 1$ microphone catches every single sound except the trigger
Lol
He's right
It's a good one and also it's not expensive
finally I can become one with sound
Agreed
The 1$ microphone was probably the funniest, but Steven had the nicest sounds. Have a wonderful day, Jojo!

it's Crazy how he Was able to Give up 10,000 dollar's. But Steven is Insane Sounds
The Steven mic was on a different level, but let's be honest for $10k you would expect that. The Blu yeti for a tenth of the cost though is an incredible piece of kit, a legend in the ASMR game and for good reason.

i usually have a hard time noticing big differences between mics, but WOW this really showed how well made steven is. absolutely ZERO backround noise, and the sound quality difference was just nuts even compared to the $1000 mic
id rank them like this (best to worst)
steven, everything is just 10/10
the $200 mics are actually very nice for the price
3dio, i thought it would be better but honestly the sounds are more muffled idk why
next id put the blue yeti pro. decent everything but only decent, nothing insane. great for the price, however its a bit louder on the right side which i have a big pet peeve for LOL
$1 mic, i know this is gonna be a shocker but youll get why in the next one
$600. i dont know why but theres a rlly ear piercing sound constantly going on with these, might just be settings but it actually hurts to listen to after a little bit
Glad I’m not the only one who heard the high pitched whine on the zoom h6 mic. Couldn’t stand it!

Loved the mouth sounds with the ear tapping at 4:42!! It would also be nice with whispers but it was generally SOO tingly and relaxing :)

With Steven you can even hear his shirt moving and the floor against his feet, truly amazing.
Thank you so much Jojo and stay the way you are!
i agree, this comment sums everything up nicely
This sums it up and im glad someone thinks the same way i do
Exactly what I was thinking, and Blue Yetis we're my favorite ones.
The 3dio is SO bad. I hate it and you explained it so well
Im so glad!
Although It Hasnt Been On The Channel For Very Long, I Definitely think Steven is the best. This Isnt Because Of The Price, It is Because of the 3d sound, and having it just feel like these triggers are beening done right next to me. It Is A Very Cool Sound And Sensation.
Interesting because for me the 3D sound gives me anxiety, 🙈
I liked the rode NT1A mics better, they had less background noise and I just preferred the sounds over steven.

@@markiza1436 why are you paying attention to it?
It’s very very sensitive. It pick up every little sound which makes it sound amazing
You mean a bit layered ?
Im with you the zoom h6 is so good not like the 3dio its kinda expensive for a mic this bad

@@SpoonManYT 3dio selling point is moreso the accurate 3d audio. Theres also the professional model(or is this it, not sure).

Honestly, the Yeti pro is my favorite. I believe it's the perfect balance of all the ASMR mics regarding price and sound quality. "Steven" is amazing but the price is nuts! 😂 Thanks JoJo!
Yes I honestly, I think it’s not too overpowering. I also like the Zoom H6
My favourite is the $600 dollar one but all of them are fantastic
your videos are amazing ceep up the good asmr videos please they are amazing
The quality of Steven is so good and gave the best tingles but I also liked the Zoom H6 for the tapping
Same those where also my favorite
Ya really need to make more videos with Steven. The sounds that he makes are super nice. Great video once again Jojo.
I hope to be in more videos!
My ranking from worst to best:
1$ mic: I mean… do I really have to explain?
Completely agree with you 😊
Agreed. Except I don't know what it is but the $10.000 one blows everything else out of the water. Like it's not even close. And I came in not expecting the difference to be that great.
I love this guys asmr I sleep so good 😊
One thing I think that makes Steven so nice is the head acts as a natural barrier for the sound, making the ear to ear movements way more noticeable and tingly.
