This may sound petty, but I really appreciate what a class act Miles is. His communication with the audience during their concerts is always respectful and appreciative. He's just a different breed when it comes to rock & roll lead singers! It doesn't hurt that their music is amazing as well! Thanks Miles!
Yes he is very humble and a great talent. I just saw his appearance on Rick Beato's podcast and he sang Watch Over You. I never knew he was such a good guitarist as well. I found a new appreciation for him and now I realize what Slash saw in him.

Best rock band around currently. Myles has the best vocals and geetar skills. Mark is unparalleled on the axe. Flip and Brian are sublime. Great song!!!!

@@josephramirez557 Probably as a result of living in the shadow of Creed. Many people loved Creed and don't accept AB, and many others call them Creed with a new singer without giving them a fair shot. If they had come out before Creed, I think they would be much bigger, since there would not be that constant comparison. Personally, I'm a fan of both, but while AB may not be as big as Creed were at their peak, they have what it takes to endure. Creed had the hooky choruses that brought in the pop crowd, but AB is more about pure rock, which IMO holds a much more loyal fanbase.
@@inflameslp311 I love both bands, but Creed was a product of it's time. AB is a natural progression with a singer songwriter at the helm who intentionally backs off to let Mark shine (Myles Kennedy can play circles around Mark, and that's no lie). That's the definition of a band: All the parts congeal to become something meaningful. AB is simply one of the best bands on the planet.
Fast becoming a big fan of these guys...my son actually turned me onto them. One of the best bands in the last 20 years. I'm 54 and this takes me back to the 80's when dudes just rocked....

I'm 54 also but I've been a fan since creed hired Myles. I knew Myles from his previous group, and his voice smashed my face in. I was never a creed fan but when Myles joined them I was in.
I'm 50 yrs old and their music takes me back in time when rock ruled!

There's actually a reason behind that, Myles wasn't actually in the video with the rest of the band, he was greenscreened in, so they had to make it look all over the place so he would blend in :P

Check out Myles' Fret 12 (I believe) interview. That's when I learned that he was underrated, and a lot of the stuff he plays on their recordings, is simple in comparison lol. He's so detailed.

Yes. The sound of a band is the instruments. Vocals can be replaced easily. Example AC/DC all their singers sounded the same. Metallica when Cliff died (bass player) their sound completely changed

One of the major examples of why rock isn't dead....All of their albums just speak volumes to my life and I love this band so much. Its a shame most people don't even know how amazing and captivating music like this is. Cant wait for yet another masterpiece.

Love how a group like Alterbridge stays strong and keep doing their music their way in this day and age where 'pop sells'. They have huge talent and I have huge respect for them. Love them & love this. Bring on the tour!!
Rock sells a lot, is even more (pop)ular them pop music. Metallica, Gun's and Iron Maiden are between the best ticket seller's in America and Europe. Movies about Rockstars like Bohemian Rhapsody are praised around the world. They sell overpriced deluxe collectors boxes all the time. New singles like songs from Slipknot ot Rammstein recently were on trending topics on RUclips.
Rock is doing fine and it has being the most long lasting pop trend in music history.

Guardian Yea I think everybody has a particular band that hits just right in their life and what’s going on at the time, Creed happened to be mine. I was actually in a drug treatment center trying to get off opioids when I heard Creed for the first time and was blown away with Stapp’s deep lyrics and just the whole sound of the band at that time. AB kicks ass that’s for sure! Myles can sing like a mother fucker but I just can’t feel it like I did with Creed! ✌🏼

i listened ab since early days what i thought about them, they tend to bring something particular theme into extreme, for example depression in ab 3 and hardship in ab 4 struck forever in my head they are truly professional and extraordinary

Alter Bridge is one of these bands where this statement is absolutely true. I listened to the Last Hero and didn't like it that much at first tbh but after listening to the whole album 3-4 times I was like damn this shit is absolutely fire. Same with this song.

After listening to AB for the last couple of years I feel that this band is a true meaning of real rock band that cares only for music and sending a message. There is no visual complexity that would distract us from music. Their dedication to the genre is true and many bands should learn from them. Too bad I live in such a small country where there is no possible way they would visit us.

Just put on loose pimp style clothes, hire a couple of slutty bimbos for my music videos, take a generic beat sing a few freestyle verses, edit it with a music editor, and boom I'm no different than these shitty rappers today. But mastering the guitar, and producing heavy riffs and solo's, that takes real effort.

where i live the radio plays what they did 7 years ago as being new. Most of the newer stuff like this i have to tune in here or on a subscription based radio service just to know what is new out there.
