Love the intro! "I was reading a book over breakfast". Stop bragging 😂 The drone footage and music over the loch is so peaceful. We've never seen rapids go through a botanical garden! Very brave to cross that rushing water!!
@@MattWhitingsEurope im glad you enjoy it,I'm from girvan. I've only been to Arran once my plan is go back in summer to climb goatfell. Did you climb it while you were there?
That's cool, I remember Girvan well, nice little place on the coast. I have fond memories of driving from Ayr to Stranraer! Funny you should mention Goatfell, I attempted it the very next day and the video is coming next Sunday. It was a tough but enjoyable day! I guess you'll catch the Ardrossan to Brodick ferry? I guess that's about an hour from you?
@@MattWhitingsEurope I'm originally from Ayr so I have done the drive to stranraer loads over the years as my family have a caravan there! Correct it's a 1hr drive to ardossan and then ferry to brodick, looking forward to the goatfell vid mate keep it up 👍
Interested in your pronunciation of Lochranza as "Loch Ensa". I have lots of Arran ancestors and have had 3 holidays on the island. Pity you didn't pop into the Corrie Golf club which has the prettiest mountain views I've seen in that area. Shame about your weather by north Sannox burn. Never mind! When I climbed Goatfell it was great going up but fogged over completely at the top. On my three trips I really really covered the island. Wonderful destination.
I can understand why they call it 'Scotland in miniature'! I really wish the weather had of been a bit kinder when I got to the North Sannox Burn, probably could have done with a whole day in that spot - terrific area by all accounts. Thanks for watching!
Hi William, it's not that surprising, we don't have or use the 'ch' sound in everyday speech so we tend to use the closest thing. It's a bit like how you would struggle with the 'ü' sound if you were learning German. It's all a matter of phonics.

Hey it was only volume 1! I had to finish volume II over lunch 😂. Brave is my middle name 😬 🤥
Hey mate ,I found your channel through the SW road trip videos. Loving the new vids, welcome back to Ayrshire!
Thank you very much, I love this part of Scotland! The SWC300 was incredible so I'm pleased to be back in your neck of the woods!

I always find it funny how English people just can't say Loch. Instead they say Lock.

@@MattWhitingsEurope I'm well aware but it's still funny.
Fair dues! ☺️
