honestly i always wish manhwa and honkai merch would be easier to get oversees aghhh
exactly istg these manhwa merches are literally nonexistent internationally. Also more commonly found in southeast asian countries cuz with the added fact that they're popular in those countries, it's cheaper production there as well as compared to the states for example,,, sed lyf :')
trying to proxy manhwas (or anything from korea tbh) is the bane of my existence because it's so expensive OTL
i'm hoping all the anime adaptations do really well and that the physical copies of the series that have them sell a lot so they know that there's a market for it in the west 🤞
@@pathtostarlight EXACCTLY, and also making several translations of them hopefully! Like, I had visited ktown in nyc a couple months ago and this one store did sell the manhwa copies, however it was all in Korean. Although I don't mind it, i do know it'd attract a lot more to a wider audience if they're available in English, my friends for example did say how they'd totally be down to get it if i English, since they don't understand Korean
I literally live in South Korea, and I always complained about how there were no genshin merch. Turns out I was looking at the wrong places XD

I get to know this channel through figure collection. And I am so surprised by this video because I am Korean. As a Korean I recommend you "Seoul Comic World". In this event, you can buy fan-made stuff(mostly genshin impact and blue archive). Eventhough stuff is fan-made, their quality is so nice since some professional artists are participating the event. Thanks for the video!!

i was so surprised to see them! i remember theresa popping up on amiami preowned once or twice and she was like 10-15k iirc, but kiana has never popped up. now i just bronya to complete the trio but she's SO expensive 😭 (and maybe yae sakura to just complete the set but she's also super expensive 🫠)

Did you go around Korea alone? Or were you there with family/friends? I'm wanting to travel alone too, but I'm anxious about going alone haha
I spent half the time with family & friends and the other half by myself. I've traveled alone before and it's fun since you can do whatever you want. Just remember to stay safe!
how much was the manhwa in korean?
I didn’t check the price for regular copies, but the special edition was 33,000krw so ~$25usd
I say Gib-Lee but am not sure myself .-.

i used to say gib-lee but a lot of my friends say jib-lee. i was peer pressured into following them LOL
