something i would like to note about the knee spin section; i and many of my other hip-hop dancer friends can agree to is that IF you do not feel comfortable attempting this in a tile or marley floor and are doing it on a carpet or other soft surface, PLEASE use leggings and not shorts. leggings are generally recommended for hip hop dancing in general, but i know a few people that prefer to dance in shorts, but if you are attempting this on a softer, carpet-like surface, please do not use shorts. it is incredibly easy to get rugburn this way! :)
