I never realised the tuyeres were so high in a side blast forge. Solid build though, You might have struggled with the 5mm, but I wouldn't have built it out of thinner, forges need to be robust! And of course you need some weight in it to balance all that kit hanging out the back.
Surprisingly it didn't burn off at all I though it would definitely burn off around the tueiron and bottom but the bricks and Ash bed protected it and we had it going a good 10 hours on some days.
my favorite bit was the bit with the blacksmithing
Mine too!
Very nicely done.
..Despite all the trouble you may have had, it turned out well. More than likely i'd have done the brake drum kind. Well done...!!
Thanks the reason it was the round alldays style is the show it was build for specifically wanted 1900 period equipment
great Job Man!!! fantastic!!

It could have been lower but I just wend with what looked right it had some thick firebrick then an ash bed
Where's the bellows and part three of the Anubis head wanna see it finished to the end
I watched the whole thing and only saw a successful build. Now time to burn the paint off.
