I had no idea this necklace survived. I have a number of Romanov jewellery books and none of them mention Thompson Biddle. The necklace features very prominently on all the Romanov brides, and on numerous portraits of Empress Maria Feodorovna. Glad to know something about it after 1918. Thanks much.
