The armour of God is also an actual real thing. Along time ago I had a friend who was a new Christian. We were concerned about him and prayed for him to have the full armour of God. He didn’t know anything about the Bible and was only a new believer. He went to the pub for a beer with his mates and wanted to tell them about his new faith. He was sitting at the bar and a drunk walked in looked him up and down pointed at him and started laughing about how he had a helmet on breastplate and was carrying a shield etc. My friend was indignant and said to him “what are you talking about I’m wearing my football shorts and singlet!”. My friend came back from the pub and told us the story about some drunk man pointing at him saying that he had armour on! Another story God woke me up once at 2 am in the morning or so and told me to pray for my armour. I did this and went back to sleep. When I woke up in the morning something hit me in the chest really hard and drove me into the bed. Had I not prayed who knows what could’ve happened! Read the Bible like a child in it’s simplicity and meaning. Be aware of intellectual theology quite often it is a stumbling stone steering away from simplicity and spiritual insight. God bless.

Do not discount the sword of the spirit, The Word of God!
It is sharper than any two edge sword, piercing the bone and the marrow, dividing the soul and spirit asunder, the discerner of men’s hearts. It is living and breathing!!!
It moves the demonic activity and the spiritual realm!
It is a force to be reckoned with!!

I remember when Holy Spirit taught me about the shield of faith: I had it on my right arm, supported, still. HS said: "You must MOVE YOUR ARM". He's right: the shield is of no use if you don't move it to meet the flying arrows of the enemy. A lesson of later date, after I learnt to expand my shield by faith, he told me to apply Jesus 's blood on my shield. The flying arrows ricocheted back to the enemy as they touched the blood. Quite effective. He also taught me to put my helmet on to protect my thoughts from attack. The plate of righteousness: SEE yourself as righteous in Christ; you do it by faith.

The sum total of the parts of the Armour of God represents Christ and His Blood. He is Peace, Truth, the Word (the Sword) He is our Righteousness, He is our Faith, He is our Salvation (Christ and His Blood) , praying in the Spirit ( the Spirit of Christ, ie the Holy Spirit) The scripture tells us to put on Jesus Christ. When we put on the various parts of the Armour we are indeed putting on Jesus Christ.
Every New Christian must learn this as part of foundational Bible study and prayer it’s The Word for Life to remind us that we wrestle not …..

Derek Prince, the late great, modern Prophet of God Almighty, spoke of The Full Armor of God, again - except that he was led by The Holy Spirit to add a revision.
Brother Derek Prince stated, in his later address to another congregation, that there is one thing that a "fully armored soldier" cannot protect, and that is, his back. The point being, that we cannot see what is behind us, so in order to protect that vulnerable back, we have the NINTH part: Fellowship in God's Word.
Brother Prince spoke of the vulnerability of being isolated and alone, as a "foot soldier", and that to have complete protection, it is Fellowship that has others at our back, to face the enemy trying to encroach from all sides. Fellowship in The Word, means to have others praying for you, AND you praying for others in your congregation. And that is the final ingredient, for a powerful, All Encompassing Army of God!

Our Father, who art in heaven, hallowed be thy name; thy kingdom come; thy will be done on earth as it is in heaven. Give us this day our daily bread; and forgive us our trespasses as we forgive those who trespass against us; and lead us not into temptation, but deliver us from evil.
Father, in the name of Jesus, I pray in faith, and I put on Your helmet of salvation.
I put on the breastplate of righteousness-the righteousness of Christ Jesus. The Lord God alone is God, perfect in righteousness and majesty. I put on the girdle of truth , because I know that Jesus is the way , the truth and life. I put on the holiness of god . I put on the sandals of the gospel of peace so I can stand on the solid rock of my salvation, who Christ, my lord. Above all , I put on the shield of faith quench every fiery arrow , spear and missile that the devil shoots my way. I ask You to disconnect me from any evil soul ties between myself and anyone else, created by any relationship, sexual or otherwise, known or unknown, in Jesus name. From today O LORD, I cut off all ungodly soul ties formed by any relationship, in Jesus name. Father according to YOUR Word, I present my body to You today as a living sacrifice, holy and pleasing to YOU. I release myself from any snare of the devil, let no doctrine of the devil be established in my life. I bind and rebuke molech and any spirit assigned to abort my destiny. I bind and cast out any spirit that would tear apart my life in any manner . Lord stir up my spirit to do your will. I bind and cast out any demon of slumber from my life. I bind and cast out all demons of fear and timidity in the name of Jesus, I bind and cast out all seducing spirits , I bind and rebuke the angels of light, I bind Satan the deceiver from my release and any deception into my life. I bind and cast out any sorcery that would deceive me, let no man deceive me. I bind and rebuke be-witchment. deliver me out of the hand of the wicked and unreasonable men. Evils spirits leave my life as I hear and speak the word. I rebuke and cast out the avenger. Let the hammmer of the wicked be broken . I cast out devils and will be perfected. I cut the cords of the wicked from my life. I speak to every evil tree to be uprooted and cast out into the sea. Let your holy fire burn every ungodly root. let the confidence of the enemy be rooted. get behind me Satan for it is written. I loose myself from every bind of Satan. I bind and rebuke all hindering spirit . I bind and rebuke all wrath of the devil . let the enemy perish at your rebuke , let the enemy flee at your rebuke, I rebuke every unclean spirit I release furious rebuke upon the enemy, rebuke the enemy with flames of fire, devil, I rebuke you hold your peace and come out.

So put on all the ARMOUR that God gives. Then when that EVIL DAY comes, you will be able to DEFEND YOURSELF. And when the BATTLE is OVER, you will still be STANDING FIRM.👈

And lest I should be exalted above measure through the abundance of the revelations, there was given to me a thorn in the flesh, the messenger of Satan to buffet me, lest I should be exalted above measure.
8 For this thing I besought the Lord thrice, that it might depart from me.
9 And he said unto me, My grace is sufficient for thee: for my strength is made perfect in weakness. Most gladly therefore will I rather glory in my infirmities, that the power of Christ may rest upon me.
10 Therefore I take pleasure in infirmities, in reproaches, in necessities, in persecutions, in distresses for Christ's sake: for when I am weak, then am I strong.
Verse 9 Jesus answers Paul and says, my grace is sufficient for the, Paul prayed 3X that god remove the thorn in his flesh, that could mean a number of things but it’s believed that it was a struggle Paul felt greatly with, that could mean intense struggles, now Jesus didn’t remove that thorn, but told him, that His grace is sufficient for him, why would God do this? Here’s a number of reasons as to why he didn’t remove the thorn
1: trials make perfections that is, experience.
2: it allows us to rely on God more so even through trials, it shows your true character as to how much you seek after God.
There are more reasons, but know that trials doesn’t mean that you should stop praying, prayer isn’t a ticket to escape suffering, it’s so we can be closer to God, prayer indicates a relationship, and relationship involves communication, my friend, seek God, desire him, humble yourself before Him, pray to him and spend time in his word, and even tho he might not remove your struggles, he will give you strength to go through them!
