I recommend you get into it, even if you just play it as a simple board game (my friends are not into role playing, although they are starting to enjoy the story) it’s still a ton of fun
DnD is so much fun even if you can’t do it online or irl (like me that takes care of baby all day) I’ve gotten my fix through watching on youtube Critical Role (from where Vecna’s voice actor comes from) or Tales of Advantris, and more so Baldur’s Gate 3. So glad I can add my fave game DBD to my DnD fix list.

Probably not. There likely isn’t a weave in the entities realm to draw magic from, so vecna would be pretty much powerless. Any power he has here is probably granted by the entity

I hope they put in some easter eggs with the Stranger Things survivors and interacting with this Vecna. That and a Stranger Things skin for him to look like he does in the show.
I think they should add both but have them be named different as well as having different powers. Two different characters for more diversity in powers and perks
Akshually 🤓 Slasher Radio did an interview with Coté after the anniversary stream and he said straight up they would not make a ST skins for a DnD character (license issue) but that Victor Creel ('Vecna' in ST) as his own killer could be a possibility if they got the chance.

I know some don’t make sense to have voice lines but it always feels wierd being in a game with like wesker talking his ass off and then getting a game with legion or deathslinger or any other killer being dead silent
When you get D&D Vecna before Stranger Things. Still awesome and will definirely be buying for Matt Mercer!!! I really hope he has a "How do you want to do this?" voiceline.

Well a killer safely studying the realm, not under its power, can come and go from his pocket realm, seemingly in complete control of himself, and chooses to stay. i never thought i’d see such an interesting story potential.
There is a high chance I will main this dude. His powers all seem really fun and the items survivors get will definitely make the trial more interesting.
I know nothing about dnd so im guessing this guy has some sort of knowledge power where he can access what has been hidden and is the only one who can rival the entity
