Fermentation is a process in which final electron acceptor is internal organic compound
Different bacteria have different end products in case of fermentation
#Fermentation
Explained very nicely, welldone.
Nice one. Well done
Thank you Bilal Sir.
informative sir
Great
Thanks
Good sir, I just wants to ask one question is fermentation aerobic or an aerobic process??
Overall fermenation is an anaerobic process. Remember one thing, in case of eukaryotic cells when there is no oxygen in muscle cells, they undergo the process of fermenation instead of following a kreb cycle, but in case of prokaryotic cells it depends upon some strong electron acceptor. If bacteria have strong external electron acceptor e.g O2 , SO4, NO3, CO2 which can accept electron in ETC, they can undergo the process of a kreb cycle even in the absence of Oxygen. And if bacteria don't have an external strong electron acceptor, they will undergo the process of fermentation where bacteria use an internal electron acceptor which is pyruvate which form in glycolysis
So in bacteria it's all about the game of final electron acceptor in Electron transport chain.
@@bilalsmicrobiology8978 ohhh you are right sir thank you so much sir to give me conceptual answer it clear whole mechanism. once again thank you sir.😊
👍👍👍
Hello what are 3 fermentation systems commonly used in the large scale production of products from marine bacteria
You may use batch fermentation system, Fed batch fermentation system and continuous fermentation system for large scale production from marine bacteria.
Try to tell in English don't use Hindi because I am telugu
