My voice changed drastically over the years due to an autoimmune disorder causing swelling in my throat. I used to be a Mezzo Soprano/Soprano range and could almost pull off a tenor's full lower register but did not ever do enough training to press for it. I did not sing for many years but recently have been enjoying singing again. Thanks to these videos I've been able to not only re-find my range, but realize that it's not lost much, just now resides in lower octaves. I've been able to make my rasp work for me as well. I have been using Alto, Tenor, Mezzo Soprano warmups, plus the extended range warm ups, and am just blown away at how much this has helped me. Thank you!!
I love these alto exercises! I'm training my voice to extend into leggiero tenor range, and these are perfect for strengthening my high upper register.
omg why doesn't this have more views? also I got down to c3 after doing your larynx exercise "keep the larynx low" turns out it was tension in my throat. 👍😊💖 thank you!
I received your e-mail today about the "guidebook". I appreciate how you respond to you viewers/listeners comments and requests. I have used your previous alto exercises and look forward to practicing with this video that includes extended range. Again, thank you for all your work on adding to your archives.
I noticed this week that I can now do no-hand liptrill in this range and tenor but not baritone yet. Thank you for all the videos, improving is so much easier than it was in the 90s!! ;-)
Just did this for the first time - WOW!! You’re amazing. I’m an alto trying to extend my range, and this is definitely the video to do that! THANK YOU 🙏🏽👏🏾
Jeff, you're a great teacher, your videos make it possible for me to practice more days than not, and that's awesome, thank you! Now how do we do this 'fan funding' you speak of! I would like to make a contribution and can't figure out how
Thank you very much for your kind words! You're very welcome! I built the channel in the hopes that singers such as yourself would use it just as you are. RUclips just discontinued fan funding, but I put a paypal link on my webiste that you can contribute with. Here's a link: www.jeffrolka.com/connect-2/ Thank you for watching and thank you again for your kind comment. Lastly, thank you for considering contributing. It is greatly appreciated! All the best, Jeff Rolka
Ahh, well that explains it! I'll find that paypal link soon then, thanks Jeff! You deserve all the donations, that's for sure :) Keep up the great work, it's really appreciated!
Thank you very much for your kind and generous contribution! I will absolutely keep up the work! Thank you for watching, your kind words and your generosity! All the best, Jeff
