Hello :) I briefly introduced about the washing method of wooden dish in this video.
Since the nature of the wood have some cracks, they say that washing it with detergent is not so good.
You can use coffeepot long and clean when you often wash it with vinegar diluted with water.

It’s is more surface protection & doesn’t penetrate deep. To harden wood deep from the inside out & seal it, try tung oil. It seals wood, prevents mold & mildew, & is perfectly safe for food surfaces.

Seeing this butter and bread...i can only recommend one thing : bread, butter and chocolate powder. U just need to put sliced butter on ur bread and chocolate powder after the butter (or before as u want). This is SO good. I love to eat it and my parents ate it when they were young. So maybe ur little son gonna like it :)
