I am worried about something. If they want to add 10-12 brawlers per year, they should take in account the changes they currently want to make. I have seen that they barely add any rare or super rare brawler, and that would go to the point where there will be 50 epics and 50 mytics, but only 10 - 20 rares or super rares. That will kill the magic in these high rarities. Back then, I was extremly happy when I unlocked an epic.

Yeah! They have stopped adding rare brawlers in the game. Currently, there are more epics, chromatics and mythics than rares and super rares. I guess this will be fixed as brawlers won't be included in the brawl paas as chromatics.

i'm slightly worried that they are both decreasing the time we get per brawl pass, removing the exclusive brawler and increasing the price of the pass. seems like it won't go well

As a mostly F2P, the gem cuts hurts, but hopefully maybe they can make up for that with Power League or the Mega Pig, like you get x amount of gems for reaching y tier something. That'd be nice.
I think you should still be able to buy the brawl pass with gems and you’ll only get the bling the brawler and the skin along with the pins and sprays

But fr, i am an OG F2P and I don't want to delete this game like cash royale, at least make a new paid pass that is worse than others but it's 169 gems, the new pass gives 20x value and the Plus one gives 25x, the old and current pass gives 13x, so i think they should keep that 13x pass and you can only buy it with gem.

Also do consider that with the limit being taken off of power points it's harder to obtain gold add to that how they buffed maxing out brawlers so now it feels even less fair to not be maxed add to this hypercharge wich just furtherd progression even more. a buff to progression like this is probably not the biggest f2p buff in the grand scheme of things considering the resource requirement has gone up to stay viable.
In terms of progression, everything seems fine to me tbh. However, if the extra cosmetic rewards for brawl pass + is exclusive, there would be big issues in the community and collectors in general

Bro let me explain something. Total resources with the free pass per season : 9k coins, 1k credits, 2.5k powerpoints, some starr drops and a legendary starr drop and 50 gems. Total resources from the pay to play pass (not the brawl pass plus just the normal pass) : 18k coins, 4.5k powerpoints, 3k credits, 2000 bling, pins and player icon as well as skin and 50 gems@@A99121
you can see that in order to get as many credits as a pay to play player, you gotta play for 3 seasons as a free to play meanwhile as p2w you get 3k credits in 1 season@@A99121
I’m a light spender, so this won’t really affect me if I wanted to buy the pass. But for the community this worries me. I hope this doesn’t kill the game.
Me personally, I will be playing less. The new pig system 1 a month gives me no reason to log on as much. The old system was frustrating needing to get on almost every day but it got me playing the game. Maybe 2 pigs a month would be better? Also not being able to get a discounted pass I won't be buying the pass anymore so I have no reason to force myself to get to the max pass lvl. It's now impossible to take breaks from the game too having only a 1 month pass. This past season I took 3 weeks off and still finished the pass. They are at least giving me less reason to play. This helps a lot for grinders both paid and free but for casuals these changes I think will hurt
As a light spender, this actually affects me a lot. For context I only bought the passes cuz they were cheap and the best value, I never spent money on any other form of progression.
Before I only bought 3 brawl passes in a year, because the other 3 I would be able to get with gems, but now I will need to buy 12 brawl passes a year because you can't get them with gems and because there is now a new brawl pass every month

This change was literally meant for casual players, Daily Quests aren't that much needed to finish the Brawl Pass making Casual players that play the game, say, 2 times a week will still finish it no matter what. Even your example of taking a break for 3 weeks, you'd still have 1 week more to finish the Pass, since we get more Seasonal Tasks and get more tokens from them, you'd probably still be able to finish them.

It's been a long journey for me playing this game. I had an addiction of games from my childhood but i used to get bored of any game after a few weeks but this was the only game which held me for the past couple of years. I took breaks but always used to return to the game every now and then. I started posting a few content because of the fact I loved playing the game but now I finally have to say my final goodbyes to the bs community and the devs for being such supportable to us f2p players. This update might make me quit the game but it was always have a special place in my heart. Peace out ✌

Well initially as a f2p player i tought the new pass wasn't that bad...bit now that i think about it those 8k coins are a bit too low considering the cost of hypercharges that realesse 6 in 2 months you can only buy 3 of those (ok i didn't consider that u get coins from star drop but i didn't also consider that you need to do level ups too) so it seems a bit low
This might be me personally but I will be grinding missions after finishing battle pass.I love starr drops and I was always a little bummed about being able to only unlock 3 a day but now I will be able to open a lot more
Also quite honestly I am somewhat glad they did this since before I used feel the pressure of getting as many passes because I would fall behind on progression but I also want to buy a legendary skin
That means the skins at brawl pass are getting more exclusive and not reachable by us . The left out fun part of the game was the new brawler along with brawl pass but it hurts as a free to play player even though there is a little buff in progression 😢
no, now that we dont need to spend gems on the pass all the time, we can finally buy mythic and legendary skins

I feel they say F2P are getting buffed, but before, you'd get the premium pass every other season so you were assured to get the premium rewards also whenever you liked to spend the gems, now you need to pay yes or yes for that progression so, is it really a buff? Also, the removal of chroma credits forces them to buff the free pass as those spots were the chroma credits are, will become vacant
There wont be a massive gap between paying players and non paying players in terms of hyper charges cuz u can get hypercharges from stardrops epic rarity and upwards and there will be a massive amount of stardrops available from free pass and paying pass
Why are they making the game more P2W
Developer: make starr road, remove box, add starr drop, add chromatic shop, adding mastery with huge reward, changing trophy road so it gave huge reward for newer player making the game become almost free to play

1 month seasons could be a bit much with all the new brawlers, i hope that they don’t introduce any outside of the brawl pass then, because they would overpopulate the game, and be overwhelming for all the new players. excited for what’s to come no matter what, though!

Yall get surge and cordelius if you have chroma credits since they will become more expensive after the update

I feel they must add gems in higher rarity star drops like mythics and legendaries(5-10 gems)

With a five years of experience in Brawl stars, i don't have any problem with that, i have all 71 brawlers and most of them are maxed out, but for a player with half of all brawlers or some new player, F2P... To maxed out it's gonna be some hard work, or almost imposible!

Yeh I mean i am 99.9 f2p and have 72 brawlers and every brawler is at least power level 9 with star power and gadget so yeh it won't really affect me but man this shit is gonna be hard for new playerd
Im started F2P and i have to say but chromatic credits and brawlers ratio is really unfair .We would gave more credits like a 300 to seasons like 1300 a season is a 15600 yearly who yes is a 2x increase but is for chroma credits
As a F2P player... This doesn't seems good to me... The Ultimate goal in this game for me is to collect the brawlers... And they're seem to be making it more difficult
Actually, it might be easier since you no longer have to grind Chroma Credits (which were hard to get imo) and Credits are still much easier to get (and it looks like they'll be even easier to get after the change.)
Maybe not for Surge or Cordelius but for every other brawler it seems like it'll be much easier.
@@seven2045 credits are definitely not easier to get, after pass Completion end rewards only give 5 credits. Stardrops very rarely give credits

I think they need to remake the rarities of the chromatic brawlers bc some of them are really resembling another different rarity not the one that is going to be put
I have been a fan of lex for many years and i couldn't agree more. Coming back to the game after so long, i was hit with many new brawlers, no boxes, bling?? and of course, the crazy power scaling. Its really frustrating that they made 1 level matter more, making it so that over levelling is much more common
The brawl pass thing killed Clash Royale and I think the same thing will happen to Brawl Stars if they don't wake up with favorable changes for F2P, I think maybe the gold should have fewer rewards and be gems while the paid diamond
A level 7 brawler damage is low than a max level so basically the power dynamic is paying player gets full damage and free player get half or lower damage.
The problem is that it slowed/ stop progress for everyone after last battle pass when they stopped club league

I’m fully f2p and I love that you can play like that and have a hella good time but no brawl pass with gems hurts a lot. You will get gems to spend on brawlers but getting every other brawl passes brawler was just better for getting more trophies because you had a lower ranked brawler.

In my opinion, they should make one or two passes per year buyable wih 170 gems (yes, I know it will be overpriced this way). So f2p players could at least see a little bit of that exclusivity.
As a og f2p player with every single brawler atleast level 9. I get new brawlers same day and chromatic at at fresh brawlp30. And have enough to get them to 9 with there super and gadgets . I think this new update will make buying the brawl pass a question if you really need that progression. I’m thinking I would only do it on update months cause I don’t want my credits going towards fame and being wasted. Unless credit prices become inflated or they change the fame system it probably won’t put too much pressure on end game people like me to buy every pass. Brawl Stars is still about skill end game, so all you need is 1 maxed out favorite brawler to have a fair one in a match

What I think they should have done is made the gem cost higher for the brawl pass instead of buying it with money e.g 259 gems And then have the brawl pass plus to be purchase with money

I stropped playing brawl stars for like a year. I was still coming back to it play a day or two then agajn leave. But i decided to come back again and its been like 3-4 days and i already got 1 legendary(from star droo i know pretty lucky), 3 chromatic 1 mythic and 1 mythic. I am only missing 1 legendary, 2 mythical and 2-3 chromatic but aren't that important as they are only receiving epic rarity. I got all the important brawler who are going to be legendary and mythic. Also bought the brawls pass before my gems become useless lol. But the changes which are coming to brawl stars in future means new players will have to grind soooo long to get all these brawlers. Its the best time to buy the brawl pass and grind as much as possible. As a og brawl stars players i feel like i am at a huge advantage new players will have a very hard time but i could be wrong. I think this happened the moment brawl stats removed boxes as they helped in fast progression i used to collect boxes and unlock them when i have piled up a lot of them in that session i used to get like almost all the brawlers i was missing maybe legendary brawlers were still hard to get but the chances were very high. Right now brawl stars will require a lot of patience but i think its still a very enjoyable game and these changes doesn't affect the negatively in any way. But again new players have to grind that's what i am trying to say.
As a maxed account holder, i used to purchase brawlpass bundle so that i can unlock the new brawler faster and enjoy....now brawlers wont be a part of bp and i dont need more resources i already have plenty....i feel my bs journey will come to an end as it will become boring and boring now
I could be wrong, but when comparing the new free vs the old free, did you already account for the new pass only being 1 month, and the old is 2? So therefore the free rewards are twice what you showed.

Just wow. I actually quit the game two days ago after playing for 3 years. Now I am even more happy about my choice. Having fun with this game requires buying the Brawl pass, at least for me. So having to spend even more money = not good. Sure, we get more resources, BUT other progression has been nerfed and hyoercharge is crazy expensive.

Well then I'm gonna say bye bye to brawlstars in 2 months cuz of that we'll... It was a good journey it's been 6 years I've been playing this game. Full free to play and I liked it ❤. And love it now too. I have all 72 brawlers power 9 all and 10 and 11 some full free to play. But my journey ends there I guess. Because now the level gap between players will be more and I hate that, they'll not get reward for hard work... Soo its bad for me. It can hurt emotionally to me cuz of the connection I made with this game for years.. So yeah bye soon I guess.

Removal of boxes was not bad at all. It's just these p2w kids had developed a gambling addiction. The Starr road is way better

@@ark3146 Removal of boxes was good for the game. Boxes were terrible and p2w. This credit system and Starr road gives you guaranteed brawlers. You have developed a gambling addiction, that's it. Just accept that this system is better. Boxes rarely ever gave you anything good. Plus you have Starr drops as well which are literally boxes but much better

All they did was nerf the value of gems heavily.. now gems are also more or less a cosmetic currency
I always thought this should have been step one for them. Last few updates have been nerfing ftp progression but I always thought they should have started with the glaring value the brawl pass offers. Because of this it ends up being a massive nerf for ftp players. They should restore some end of season rewards or buff the gold in the free pass back to what it was now that I imagine their revenue from the brawl pass will increase.

Sad thing my mom and dad don't like "real money" brawlpass because they have to pay for it themselves. and they have said that you don't get it every month. and now that the prices are going up, if I understood correctly, I hardly get brawlpass once or twice a year 😢
im sorry to say that, but i hate the new update. the whole reason im still playing the game is because I liked being able to purchase a BP every now and then when I have enough gems so that i can get the new brawler and enjoy them a bit earlier than most players who'd have to unlock them with chroma credits. the chromatic rarity was something different, something i really loved and enjoyed, i dont know how it crossed their mind to change that after over 20 whole seasons have passed

My biggest wish to the Brawl stars crew is to make it easier to get gems for free
Its only 7 dollars, its all good. What is upseting me is the star road, that you and that you cant get the new brawler or the brawler you want right from the start, you will have to get through a lot of brawlers that you dont like just to unlock the one that you want.
This all sounds really hype. I think everyone just focuses on the negatives too much

I must say, this video was unexpectedly more enjoyable for me compared to Kairos', who happens to be my favorite content creator. However, Lex is also doing an amazing job, so, yeah, it was a pleasant surprise! 😄

being fr right now, supercell ran outa idea in how to make money in a creative and a fun way. now how they make money is basically make some broken brawler(chuck) and sell early access to those who pays the money. personally, I am a hater to the new changes, I dislike the feature of cancelling chromatic and the removal of gem purchase of brawl pass. it just feels like brawl stars isn't brawl star anymore, since the removal of chests, i personally think that supercell changes things to frequently to the point of making me uncomfortable.

As a F2P player, I’m already facing level 11s as a level 7, so this doesn’t actually make a difference unless they add level 12

To be honest Lola needs to be Legendary. Her mechanics are so unique. Having a clone that doubles as a fourth teammate is really good. And you really need to know how to move along with her ego so SHE HAS TO BE LEGENDARY.

Are they gonna make it so that a year after the brawl pass comes out, the exclusive stuff for it won’t be exclusive anymore like how it is now? That would be nice. I’m a free to play player that plays everyday.

as a f2p i really want the brawl pass, but being able to get the hypercharges and things just feel so good. Plus supercell making more money means more new games.
I'm F2P and I'm fine with the change to the paid pass, the devs have made Brawl Stars very F2P friendly for years & even with this change it is still among the most F2P friendly games out there. The team need & deserve to charge actual money for the paid pass.

Can anyone tell me that, in the brawl talk they said there's a kit skin at the last and if you don't have kit and yet will the kit skin be there or something else OR after claiming the kit skin at tier 70 we'll get kit automatically? Someone please tell!!
I have noticed how they are making skins very expensive recently.. like 7 mythic skins in this update and only 1 79 gem skin from couple of updates. And now this paid brawl pass is so bad. We need to convey our message to supercell to not make brawl pass paid .

TLDR: This update will boost F2P progression BEYOND infinity.
We gotta realize that now, with seasons becoming monthly, we will get reards TWiICE AS MUCH as normal. This means that in two months, instead of getting 90 gems, F2Ps get 100 gems and this applies to EVERYTHING. This is a great progression buff, and the added gems will allow F2Ps to get more cosmetics and, potentially, brawlers. 600 gems per year is CRAZY good.
Another thing, im glad they went this route with brawlers on the brawl pass. The game was getting oversaturated with chromatics, and their original gimmick from when they were first added became irrelevant.
Yet another thing i wanna add in an edit, the coin buff is AMAZING. To upgrade a brawler to power 11 (excluding gadgets, gears, and starpowers), it costs around 8k coins. With the added coins from the brawl pass, you will be able to upgrade 12 brawlers to max EVERY YEAR, which allows you to keep up with the rate that brawlers are being added in.

I got cordelius a few days ago and got him to 800 trophies, silver 3 mastery and power 10, it was 100% worth it.
Do the comparison with the new values that they released yesterday because we're getting -7000 less coins and -1000 less power points......
I believe this is not a bad update, everyone only looks at the bad sides but nobody takes time to look at the positives, such as the new brawlers not being from brawl pass, so F2P can now get the new brawlers without having to buy brawl pass

im glad i have cordelius on a supercell id before the changes :) cuz i got the brawl pass since season 19
surge and cordelius have unique mechanics like surge being able to upgrade and cordelius having his own domain imo they deserve to be a legendary
I’m getting Ty at the end of this season and would only need 500 more chroma credits to get cordelius after RT

I really feel like Lola should become a mythic or legendary her super is too unique and versatile for epic
