Districts should not be based on race. They should outlaw gerrymandering all together. Districts should be based on population alone with the same number people in each district regardless of the geography. Lines should be drawn based on longitudinal or latitudinal lines straight across the state, regardless of the area. If a line runs through a large city it should be divided into two district if the city has more people than the district with the least people. Never based on race geographical area and for sure not on politics.
