Ah, Usseewa. Ado's major debut song with Universal that was released a day before she turned 18. This song really was the starting point that led her to national fame...for the wrong reasons (some people didn't like the vulagarity and the message of the song). Ado started out as an utaite, a Vocaloid cover singer so I think you should check out her pre-major debut songs (before Usseewa) to see how amazing her voice is at 15-16. As for recommendations, you should watch the lives for Aishite (x3) and Unravel and her cover of Crime and Punishment, Fleeting Lullaby and Tot Musica for the hard stuff, for more pop ballad stuff, go for Himawari and Aitakute. For stuff that make you bop, go for Odo and Show. For pop pop, go for New Genesis, Gira Gira, Im Invincible....in other words she has so many genres under her belt due to her variety and you should check out all of them to be amazed by her range All of Ado's originals have english subtitles while her covers don't
Ado is 22 years old. She skyrocketed to mainstream fame in asia after her first Original song called Usseewa in 2020. (which is slang for shut up.) It was released a day before her 18th birthday. She has never revealed her face😊
The song I would recommend most is "Backlight" aka "逆光" which showcases the different moods she can sing in and also how emotional and versatile her voice is.
Usseewa was Ado's debut single, and made her explode into Japan's music scene like no artist ever had before. New singles followed shortly after and they blew up as well. To give yourself some context to this artist, take a look at this crash course to Ado: ruclips.net/video/ZZKukjldOkk/видео.html (Ado has no genre, but if rock is your thing, Backlight (ruclips.net/video/gt-v_YCkaMY/видео.html) is probably the closest you get to a straight up rock song)
The Usseewa video has English subtitles. You might have to click on Settings and select the language. Among Ado's other songs, Value is more toned down and has a nice groove. Aishite Aishite Aishite is one of her more experimental songs and shows off her extreme vocal abilities, both in the the live and studio versions. Unleash is a cover of a song by Ling Tosite Sigure which has some pretty wild vocals to begin with , and Ado's version maintains the intensity. New Genesis is a great synth pop song, like The Weeknd's Blinding Lights but better IMO.
For context this was her Debut Song it was released the day before her 18th birthday. It became a smash hit with younger Japanese people due to the lyric critical of the often toxic work culture. It literally made Ussewa which is a harsh version of shut up in Japan the 2nd most influential word of the year and was kinda controversial at the time especially among parents. Next up for you should New Genesis which is song that brought her to international attention.
Additionally she is what they call an Utaite which tend to be faceless cover singer usually covering vocaloid music which is a whole different subculture of music using synthesized vocal programming. Her name is from a type of Japanese Theater performance called Kyogen in which the "Ado" is the character that supports the main character. So she has decided to remain anonymous due to a combination of introverted nature and wanting to let her music be the "Ado" (support) for others without superficial things like appearance take away from that.
I'd suggest always going for her live performances. Especially if you don't think the lyrics are that important in your first listen. Live is where Ado really shines because she always adds small (or not so small, like in Usseewa) details to her songs live to get more emotion out of the song and her voice and the live musicians also add a lot to the songs. Usseewa was a major controversy because it criticizes Japanese society and especially their work culture with all the archaic rules that come with it. A 17 year old girl basically shitting on one of the most male- and hierarchy-dominated pillars of society is unheard of and conservatives and a lot of parents even went so far as to try and get the song banned from public airwaves. Ado kind of became the voice of the youth who are fed up with the never changing status quo with the song.
Tbh i really want to recommend Gira Gira or even a cover of Kawaikute Gomen purely because of the contrast in her voice in those two compare to here Ado at the end of the day isn't exactly a rock singer or even close to one, she kinda just does everything from every genre
@@ekardandotkmusic really?😮 I check this MV has 6 different languages subtitles. Maybe it’s different according the different region ?? I never know this

Yeaaah , i hoped u would react but not this soon , u should listen unravel live version by ADO as this was her best live video available,
We have recorded this right after watching the collab song but we are reading all the comments for the next recommendations
Value , Show , Odo , mirror , Rules are all different from her.
U could listen to RuLE her newer song , for more brash and extra aggressive in your face ADO , slightly similar to ussewa but 🤯

You should check all songs in the ONE PIECE film RED, which Ado sings various types of music! All songs are amazing!!!💙

Ado - Unravel LIVE VERSION plz
This song is really difficult to sing. People don’t realise it. Her vocal is insane. She defines the music. She can literally do variety of music.
imo....if you want to know how flexible of her voice i think you should watch her cover of God-dis (Kamipoi na)
U should turn on the subtitle if the MV have subtitle
This one didn’t unfortunately so we went with Genius for the lyrics
@@ekardandotkmusic really?😮 I check this MV has 6 different languages subtitles.
