Considering how blundering InGen is, it would perfectly reasonable that they could have created a couple Megalodons and accidentally released them.... since they are a little small they could have been juvenile like the dilo in JP1. The rest of it was basically stuff we already knew about Breakout.
Until the part where the shark's offspring would somehow be massive too, just because its parents were fed growth hormones. I'm pretty sure that biology doesn't work that way. That'd be like expecting the Kardashians kid's to look like their mothers do now, after all the plastic surgeries, enhancements, injections, etc.
