Well done Dan, brilliant. I was unfortunate enough to watch it on record on the sky box. Delays meant that the recording finished before the meeting. Well done Sky and Eurosport.
I'ts not Sky and Eurosport's fault at all, the blame here is entirely with Armando Castagna and the FIM track team - the track was terrible, to the point of dangerous even on Friday, it was worse Saturday and we sat there while they pretty much completely re-laid the surface before the semis which is why your coverage over ran the usually generous time slot. Today at SGP2 the policy was to grade the track every two heats to try and keep it safe to last the meeting and they didn't even manage that. The track was unpredictable, the under 21s were coming off all over the place and getting hurt, it was a meeting of attrition today, not racing. Called off and result declared after heat 20 because the track was deemed to dangerous to run the semis and the final. It was a disgrace to the sport and quite frankly embarrassing. I'm off to Wroclaw in two weeks, I feel I need to apologise to every Polish fan I meet
@@TechnoHippy Agreed the track was terrible it was a real shame and I didn't know about today but what I was actually referring to was the sky box will generally go onto the end of programmes if they over run and on this occasion it didn't. Our sky box will record any bit of rubbish that we flicked on last week as it thinks we like it but won't correctly record stuff I want. It forgot the series link for the GP restart after the World Cup for instance. It's a pain in the backside. As the other commenter alludes to.
Bravo. Really great job young man. Good Guy, Unpretentious. Fantastic Speedway Rider and not bad on an MX Bike either. Saw him a few years back and pegged him as a future World Champion and then he had a slight set back with a Leg injury and he has bounced back nicely. He has been racing in the big boy leagues and beats the best in the world on a weekly basis for the past 2-3 years, then got the call up with the unfortunate Russian Rider Suspensions and seemed a bit overwhelmed in the GP's at first and understandably so. Showed signs of improvement in the last GP., and in the Speedway of Nations he really performed well and you can see his confidence just soaring. I felt he might have a good showing and boy did he. Congratulation Daniel Bewley and Great Britain ! Not bad for his first Final. Congratulations to Jack Holder for a very impressive weekend as well. The 2 young replacement Riders are turning out to be a wise choice. Please Allow the U.S. the Live Feed on RUclips Organizers. It's not doing Speedway any favors excluding access to it. Speedway needs all the exposer it can get. It's the greatest Motor Sport in the World. Banning the Russian GP was correct. Banning those 2 boys was not. Please do the right thing and give the Champion and Emil Wildcards. Sports especially Speedway have nothing to do with that Idiot in Moscow.
No voice left today I'm sure Dan wouldn't have won without this idiot yelling at the top of his voice from above the 4th bend. Awesome performance from Dan The Man
Jason Doyle should have been excluded for the contact with 155. He was out of control trying to recover from hitting a rut. Not cool. The ref completely screwed 155.
Why does the millennium stadium in Cardiff (or whatever it's called these days) always insist on having tons and tons of _FIRE_ before every event, seemingly no matter the sport. I've been there multiple times to see the rugby and they had fire then obviously. And when they hosted the FA Cup final for years they would have fire, and they have fire for this, and honestly every sporting even I've ever seen in TV that's hosted there. When they host boxing events there's fire. Even the recent huge WWE wrestling pay-per-view event Clash at the Castle, of course, had fire. Is it because of the whole dragon business? I'm half Welsh, I should already know this lol. But I guess it's like Wales in general going "yeah, we've got the most badass flag, we've got a motherfucking dragon, so fuck you here's some fire"
Stop spewing the lies that this is the best round in the calendar. A horrible track and an empty stadium. There must have been about 20,000 in attendance
Agree fella , Four of us attended for the first time,All very disappointed. Track was crap,Had a lower tier seat, All we could see was the riders helmets as they came past us on bend three ,The air fence was that high, 1.30 A.M. we got home Ten minute walk to the car park Stewards diverted us back to the town centre extra 40 minute walk .No sign posting to tell you how to get out of town. Yes,Half empty.Stadium and track is a lot lot smaller than what you see on the t.v.Never again, Beautiful day and they shut the roof, Air conditioning or lack of it a joke.First one out won the race. Second third and fourth ,Very much the same order.Brother in law was talking to a Belle Vue fan halfway through the meeting Who said he could not watch this rubbish, And headed off home early. Riders were also moaning about the state of the track, But has Jason Crump said to Scott Nicholls We have both ridden on Worse. Being Brits, Dan made our day though Bless him by winning it,For me I would prefer Belle Vue over Cardiff for this occasion any day,
@@smithy2882 It's the new Management Squad. Can't watch it on RUclips here in the States. So I ordered BEIN Sports through DISH, They block the event here in the U.S. I'm a Speedway Fanatic. Around March I start Twitching full Trainspotting. At least you have Proper Speedway over there. That Cardiff Stadium used to pack 50,000k and the Track was immaculate with several lines. it seems like a repeating cycle w One-Offs. Sorry it wasn't what it could've been. @@smithy2882 The Cardiff track has always rutted up very badly. I don't know how difficult it is to prepare a temporary track. Chris Harris only won on '07 because Greg Hancock was thrown wide on the last bend by a huge rut. The roof is a major benefit though. Postponing such a large event must be costly & I went one year when the rain was torrential before & after the meeting. It probably never stopped all night but once inside the stadium, I couldn't even hear it. I have only seen racing at the new Belle Vue track on TV, but I have visited the circuit & it looks like a great venue on many levels. Maybe a 2nd round in Britain can be arranged? Poland has 3-4 but most, if not all, of the riders have bikes & mechanics based over there. Few have the same in the UK.
Dreadful track, very little passing, stadium looked far from full, Tatum and Louis trying their best to convince us it was exciting, it wasn't, if Speedway carries on with Meetings like this, it's finished. Have watched Speedway for over 50yrs, that was dreadful!
Well done Dan the man!!!!Cardiff track was rubbish 🗑 again sadly. Should be having a GP at the best track in the country, and we all know where that is ♣️
You guys are total buzz kills. I haven't seen the Grand Prix yet, but there you are giving away the plot in you title. Why don't you bury it in the video so us guys who have to watch it after the fact have at least some mystery to the event. Jeezzz.....
I haven’t been able to watch the GP here in the USA. The New Era is sort of sucking. BEin Sports is a total joke. We don’t get Discovery+Sports. Why not live stream on the RUclips channel (like last year). I would gladly pay to watch but that isn’t even an option. Frustrated..
Nige would’ve loved to have seen that. Amazing
My thoughts exactly as I watched it❤️
I was there watched it live the atmosphere was unreal! Absolutely buzzing what a night for Danny boy!!!❤️💙
I was there driving the silver Rewaco trike in the opening ceremony, atmosphere was electric
I was there too . Brilliant night.
This one's for Nigel!
Proud of Dan Bewley well deserved 👏
Dan has improved all year in his first full season not an easy field to beat.
He reminds of Darcy Ward for his skills on the bike.
They said in commentary hes been talking to Darcy too. Awesome style
Simon Wigg all day long
That one was for Nigel Pearson! Well done Dan mad 🎉
