Hi! Thanks for watching! Can you see an improvement of the video quality in this series? I really hope so, as I was working with a better camera and video editing program. I am currently a student of (RUclips) filmmaking 🎥📷🎬😊

All your videos and patterns are terrific. Great understanding and showing on the video. Thank you. I have purchased 6 of your patterns. Can't wait to sew them all.

What is that tool called that you are using to insert the elastic?

I have a question at 10.29 you say baste along the arm openings so the pieces don't slip. Is this removed at some point? also you are using an overlocker stitch? I don't have that do I use a zigzag with a regular running stitch over it?

I sew the basting stitches so close to the edge that I don't remove them later on, but you could certainly do that. If you do not have an overlock/ serger stitch on your sewing machine, the zigzag and running stitch would be a great alternative, yes :) Happy sewing!

This was a very neat video. However, you should have mentioned that you used a overlock machine to finish the seams. For seams this small, the overlock must be adjusted. I also noticed that for the shirred sleeve you only used one thread instead of two. Looking forward to part II.
