Under the USBRL project, a new 46-kilometer railway route has been completed between Sangaldan and Reasi in Jammu and Kashmir. Train trials are currently underway on this route. Commissioner of Railway Safety has completed the inspection of this railway route during this period. Another unique railway route spans 111 kilometers between Katra and Banihal, which is distinctive in itself. However, Bakhal Railway Station on this railway route could be considered the most beautiful railway station because it is surrounded by tall mountains on one side and is close to the world's highest arched bridge, the Chenab Railway Bridge, on the other side. The Commissioner of Railway Safety conducted an inspection of Bakhal Railway Station.
