I love it I have a 64 Fairlane prostreet street legal and I love going to the shows and seeing all the many beautiful cars ,iam 33 yrs in Army Aviation and iam am not going to let the far left take my gas cars just so they can get rich off these electric car ,there expensive there dangerous and they'll never work out
You are right on. I hope I'm wrong. But one day, not long from now, it will probably be illegal to own such a car. And even the wealthiest amongst us who get a pass to keep theirs won't be able to find fuel anywhere. They'll be relegated to being in private collections nobody ever sees. Few people value such things as this anymore. Most kids I see who run around the neighborhood would rather have the newest version of Nintendo Switch and some bubblegum flavored vape than be given the keys to a free 55 Chevy gasser ready for the show.
Some really beautiful cars & sling shot dragsters here! That cackle never gets old! I'm 68 & it's too bad that most people today never got to see these awesome machines actually race! Wild Willy & his one handed burn outs in "Pure Hell"! Good old days are truly gone forever!❤
I'm always late, day-gone-it! I wonder can I bring my junk to this here thang with all the noise? Edit: Aww heck, I fergot to say how really sweet it is seein all these old boys brangin their heavy peddles out in the open like this! Thank you to everyone who was there and those who made it happen!
What i miss ? Went blank after the Nomad 😍 64 yrd young & American Muscle Cars & r/c lol, still makes me smile. '65 Trypower Goat i drove to H/S is dearly missed.
Also- The City of San Fernando 62 409 chevy driven by my Van Nuys High School friend Willy Honsberger racing Don Nicholson's chevy, Hayden Proffit Pontiacs, etc. Dandy Dick Landy's Automotive Research Dodges, Bob & Dale Motors beautiful blue Super Stock Ford, etc. Those were the best days! (For me anyway)
I was fortunate to live during the era of gassers. I grew up spending every weekend at Lions Drag Strip during the 60's on into the 70's. It was a time when so much drag racing history was made.
Great vlog, thanks for posting and sharing with us. BUT, as for me, the Henry-J and the Rambler, I’d rather have them as non-gassers. Streetable with a 4.0/242 fuel injected inline 6s. Just me, and that AMC SCRAMBLER is to die for. Eddie Cortez AMC dealer,Wichita Falls,Tx, gave me a ride in a Scrambler, oh what a ride. I do love me some gassers! Beats NASCAR all over!!!
Not many folks born after 2000 know what "Mr. Toads Wild Ride" at Disneyland was, I'll bet. It was an "E" ticket ride and I loved it... Not many young folks would know about the ticket books either.
3:40. Rebel Machine. Wow. Good luck seeing one of those in traffic. AMC's way of getting into the muscle car wars. They did good. Too late too little, though.
That's a SC/Rambler American, also known as the Rambler Scrambler. The Machine was a Rambler Rebel commonly known as The Brick. They were both pretty hot.
It's a yearly event where Gassers from all around come to Rev their engines at the Zimmerman Automobile Driving Museum. Next Gassers show is on August 27, 2022
It's a complete shame that there wasn't the same amount of focus on the cackle cars as there was on the rest of them. I would have loved to see the whole video of the cacklefest
I always have love gassers I just wish the hell I can afford to have one of my own but I don't have the money yet maybe a little later on I will can you let me know what y'all's t-shirts cost for a large thank you and God bless
At 1:02 this scene is so prophetic of the times we live in. A 37 Chevy gasser passing an electric Tesla. The complete opposite ends of the spectrum. I'll take the 37 Chevy. It has a soul.
I see lots of old farts like me of 74 who finally got the dough to recreate the 1960' and 70s in LA. Sad that you can't notice ANY young owners!! They all bought Subarus and big exhaust pipe extensions.
Young mother doesn't get it. She should be protecting that little child's ears that she is holding. Little kids have very sensitive hearing when they are that little.
Love these cars. Thanks for sharing.
Thank you for the video 👍
Now that's a great way to spend the day. The rumble of American muscle never get's old....
Better than those stupid electric car
I love it I have a 64 Fairlane prostreet street legal and I love going to the shows and seeing all the many beautiful cars ,iam 33 yrs in Army Aviation and iam am not going to let the far left take my gas cars just so they can get rich off these electric car ,there expensive there dangerous and they'll never work out

Love old school muscle and old gassers cars live on!!
Really glad these kind of events can still take place!

That was a fantastic video! So many cars to love!!
Awesome, there is nothing like the good old classics and raw sounding horse power.
I love seeing old cars still burning fuel .God bless yall real good.
I put a jet engine in my Mustang last spring, and the chicks really dig me.
That Mustang would make a great ring tone,
Faves were the white Rambler wagon and the Demented wagon, love that pewter patina on the latter's grille!
You guys just seem to have a blast. Wish I could be there !!!!
August 27, 2022, is the next Gassers show!
@@CarMuseumGuy1 I am in Las Cruces NM
Very cool car show!
Ooooh wheeeeee, that fast back sounded "nasty"!!!
Hideki is impressed by the cool exhaust sound = 3
Hey, that's my dad's 1958 Rambler crosscountry Station Wagon.
Soo cool!
What i miss ? Went blank after the Nomad 😍 64 yrd young & American Muscle Cars & r/c lol, still makes me smile. '65 Trypower Goat i drove to H/S is dearly missed.
Love them old school gassers
What a way to spend a day, reminds me of the old San Fernando Drags, Tommy Ivo, Stone Woods & Cook, Micky Thompson. The good old days
Also- The City of San Fernando 62 409 chevy driven by my Van Nuys High School friend Willy Honsberger racing Don Nicholson's chevy, Hayden Proffit Pontiacs, etc. Dandy Dick Landy's Automotive Research Dodges, Bob & Dale Motors beautiful blue Super Stock Ford, etc. Those were the best days! Subscribing to this channel. Great work guys!
Good job on this..
Nice video man!!! The Chevys and Mopars doing all the burnouts!
Very nice work 👏
I think Humble II put on a good show. 19:42
All of the burnies were good though.
Many serious cars there.
Thumbs Up !
Wow, T V Tommy I Os dragster. I remember going to his shop on Woodman Ave in the 70s. He always had time to speak to rudders and fans. Great 👦
Nice change from the ground draggers.
Now thats what a car show is suppose to be ..... all old stuff, no new stuff . Wish I lived in that area. I have a lot of cars to show.
The only thing that was missing was me.. lol.
And me
Next time!
Fantastic, some real muscle 😆 love the scene 👍👍👍
New sub,, GASSERS FOREVER!
Je suis Français et je viens de m'abonner. Merci pour ces moments qui sont très rares en France. je vais maintenant découvrir votre suite. Bravo.
I was fortunate to live during the era of gassers. I grew up spending every weekend at Lions Drag Strip during the 60's on into the 70's. It was a time when so much drag racing history was made.
Nice!
Stunning , love the gassers

Tesla folks that drove by, spilled their starbucks and cracked their eyeglasses
Not many folks born after 2000 know what "Mr. Toads Wild Ride" at Disneyland was, I'll bet. It was an "E" ticket ride and I loved it... Not many young folks would know about the ticket books either.
Gassers Forever !!!
Way too cool!
It's nice to see people who aren't afraid to do burn outs with their cars! Drive em like you stole them lol
So you ended up with my Grandma's Rambler Station Wagon.
3:40. Rebel Machine. Wow. Good luck seeing one of those in traffic. AMC's way of getting into the muscle car wars. They did good. Too late too little, though.

I didn't think California allowed "vehicle modifications" any more.
10:20... ahh the sound of freedom past! Glorious music!
love the rambler wagon . i wood trade my house for that .
I was thinking the same thing!
I aint stupid,i didnt vote democrat, an i know ya'll didnt fire off Tommies Buick. Good shit! Send more.
post car or not that chevy 2 was one cool car … the baby momma in that segment is thick a.f 🤩
11:11 are you friggin kidding me!!! That's sweet 😀
Right! Amazing t bird!
What’s the story behind this cool gathering??
Thanks for sharing 😎
It's a yearly event where Gassers from all around come to Rev their engines at the Zimmerman Automobile Driving Museum. Next Gassers show is on August 27, 2022
Pretty sure that Buick at the 5.05 is on the Hoonigan channel doing some drag racing
❤❤❤👌
I see TV Tommy Ivo's first dragster there. Don Prudhomme owned it after Tommy. He put a hemi in it. Is that a restoration or a replication of it...?
Sweet just bought a 1950 Chevy gasser
Gassers rule,, yeah buddy
Ever heard a electric car that sounded this sweet?
It's a complete shame that there wasn't the same amount of focus on the cackle cars as there was on the rest of them. I would have loved to see the whole video of the cacklefest
We'll see if we can cut an edit of just the cackels.
Someone needs to buy some 1 gallon jugs of water next time.
I always have love gassers I just wish the hell I can afford to have one of my own but I don't have the money yet maybe a little later on I will can you let me know what y'all's t-shirts cost for a large thank you and God bless
That is one very FUGLY Rambler wagon.
No Hondas were harmed in making this film.
At 1:02 this scene is so prophetic of the times we live in. A 37 Chevy gasser passing an electric Tesla. The complete opposite ends of the spectrum. I'll take the 37 Chevy. It has a soul.
As often as you filmed it I assume the orange Desoto Deluxe is yours?
No, that's one of our friend's cars.
@@CarMuseumGuy1 I knew there was something!
Love them Cragar wheels
I see lots of old farts like me of 74 who finally got the dough to recreate the 1960' and 70s in
LA. Sad that you can't notice ANY young owners!! They all bought Subarus and big exhaust pipe extensions.
I love this sound, Hate hearing it on modern day pickup trucks 😡
Looks a damned good day out and nice to hear all that 50's rockin' music in between the cars too. Proper heritage, all this......
I like that town because they let you have fun burning rubber
That maroon car is gorgeous what is it??
Very good therapy
Indeed! Well needed too. =)
Kicking gas"""😠🤪 and taking names 🤨💥🙉🙈🙊💯💪
jesus,i gotta move out of canada and get to cali
Yes, you do! COme on out for our August 27th, 2022 Gassers 8 car show!
OK where are you?
If it's possible I think I been seduced and had a eargasom lol.
Just don't understand the gassers... Is it to transfer the weight back or to fit the headers or what? Not really streamline...
I don't care for them either. I think that they look stupid but some people really like them. Everyone has their opinions.
0:37 is just about the only one I liked.
It was a low tech but effective way to get good weight transfer back in the day. Not much need now with modern tyres and suspension.
Funny that some Tesla just had to show up......A bit out of your league there punkin.....lol
9:20 whats wrong whith that guy in the white t-shirt?
He‘s covering his face?
Imagine what it'll be with electric cars?
Yeah, but where are the babes?
Hey do you care if I mix a little Nitro Methane in my gasoline
Young mother doesn't get it. She should be protecting that little child's ears that she is holding. Little kids have very sensitive hearing when they are that little.
I saw that Rambler at Eagle Field this year, she's bad. Too bad the weather was miserable and the timing system was caca.
Загляденье !
To start one of these without a burnout is just plain wrong
🎶ha ha good sheet👍🏻
The good old days what the fuck happened front wheel drive give me a fuckin break
