I have a plastic comb and another one of wood. I wash them in the sink with liquid soap and a detail brush (aka an old toothbrush), rinse them with cold water and let them air dry.

Dang I needed this. For my combs I add some shampoo and scrub them with the hair brush. Then I would soak my brushes in the sink. However there's still some gunk at the base of the bristles. 😓

White vinegar and water 50/50 is a great way to clean wooden boar bristle brushes, I use a spray bottle then massage it in, leave it for a min then rinse well and air dry ✨️

For combs- we soak them in a mix of liquid soap and water. Then scrub with old toothbrush (getting the max use out of it) and rinse.
We don't have enough hair to warrant a brush lmao
