mmmm I've watched Nightcore evolve the past 10 years. At first it really was just all about speeding up existing music and creating a high pitch. Then people started doing more and more stuff like remixing, adding additional instruments, autotuning and doing all kinds of things. Eventually we even got bands that created songs (such as S3RL) that were Nightcore from the beginning. Nightcore is a really broad spectrum of music and there's many ways to create it. This song here is not particularly different from the original so it is pretty lazy. But generalizing the whole genre from the one example is unfair. I love Nightcore :D
