47:35 lol that Jimmy Buss dude i dont know about him, he seems to often have a different version of history from everyone else. He says he was supposed to have a meeting with Magic but Magic never showed up. But then Magic and Jeanie both said they have no idea what Jim is talking about lol. That Buss family is something else

I always thought Magic wanted to takeover the Lakers at this time. It appears Jeanie Buss was still stuck on Phil Jackson at this time. It's amusing to watch her play the victum card.

@TheWiffle ain't no mawfuckin doubt. And if you put Kobe Bryant's and Larry Bird's entire careers into the proper context, I believe they are both the second greatest/ best players of all time and if not second greatest at least second best because LeBron does not make my top 5 in terms of greatness or being the best, which is a slight difference. I believe that while Magic Johnson may be a greater player than Larry Bird he's not a better player. But Magic Johnson is in my top five.

@@ShaWiffle You're not a real fucking Lakers fan then. LeBron delivered us a title in a year where we needed it most while we mourned Kobe. Those rings are literally fucking engraved with Kobe tributes.

Jerry Buss' children are not Jerry Buss and do not have his innate talent for judging talent and seeing the future. Jeannie Buss is sincere but that alone will not result in success (championships). Jim Buss needs to improve his image and persona - he looks and acts like a child who happened to be born to a father who became wealthy. If I was a NBA professional like West, Sharman, and Kupchak, I do not think I could answer to someone like him whose credentials are - a son of the owner. Until Jim Buss became involved, the Lakers down years were few and far between. Currently,. the LA Lakers are a small family owned business and make decisions based on feelings and whims instead of facts and evidence. WIth an old LeBron James, the Lakers will be no where close to the NBA Finals in 2024.
