@@robertcurry389 "The concept of "stormtroopers" first appeared in March 1915, when the Ministry of War directed the Eighth Army to form Sturmabteilung Calsow ("Calsow's Assault Detachment" or SA Calsow). SA Calsow consisted of a headquarters, two pioneer companies and a 37mm gun (Sturmkanone) battery."
This puts "Stormtroopers" before "The Unkillable Soldier (May 15th, 1915)" and before "Attack of the Dead Men (August 6th, 1915)".
@@d3athperception828 Those guys aren’t the “Sturmtruppen” in Sturmbattalion Rohr. After Verdun Ludendorff gave the green light to organize these assault battalions. Calsows men by your own admission were pioneers, they weren’t explicitly “stormtroopers.” They weren’t even used the way the German high command intended which was the same way we would see stormtroopers organized once they became a more widespread thing.
The Rohr Assault Battalion were your first real “stormtroopers.” Rohr really made use of squad sized elements in fast and violent attacks. They were coordinated at the lowest levels. Rohrs detachment first saw action in the Vosges where the tactics they employed were shown to be massively successful. After this Rohr and his men started training other units in these new “stormtrooper” tactics and the stormtroopers were first sent into major action at Verdun.
Why not put all the people songs that are hard to identify an exact time for at the end maybe even adding a break song between the event ones and the hero ones such as dead soldier's waltz.
Is it what I do on my playlist? Yes.

RE: 1:14:10 ; iirc the price of a mile at passchendaele alone, not taking into account the sheer width of the front, was around 84k men and can be brought down to a figure of at least 1 man per inch of ground. WW1 was insane.

Great job in putting this together! I stumbled across this band about three months ago and being a history major, I couldn't believe there is a band that does nothing except teaching history through music! These should be used in every classroom to help young people understand how terrible war is and to learn from this. I don't see them glorifying war at all. I believe they are trying to teach people how bad it is.

only, three months ago...? They're probably, one of the biggest metal acts lol. Also, I think it depends. But, it's metal Blood and Death are at the forefront of a lot of the music. People, complaining about it have literally never listened to an Amon Amarth or Mayhem song.

the most interesting thing about this is that it means at some point someone could feasibly do another ones of these but with all of sabaton's songs with them being in chronological order. meaning it starts with either The Art Of War or Sparta and ends with the metal machine, metal crue, metal ripper, or the metal trilogy with some songs possible being able to but in twice such as steel commanders since it go over both WWI and WWII briefly.
That would be amazing, but I think 2h is already pushing the game to the limit. Any longer and I think it will just crash
@@Chainbrain that just means that they could have the charts split into parts with the years being part of the titles and telling people where in the time line each part goes over.

Maybe you could do this with every sabaton song that isn't about WW1 or WW2, you could also remove stuff like covers and the Metallizer or Carolus Rex albums if you wanted to get the number down, it would be cool to show off more obscure song like Metal Trilogy which combines their 3 songs Metal Ripper, Metal Machine, and Metal Crüe, which combine a bunch of different lines, song names and artists from different metal music in each respectively. it also would show off some songs about middle eastern wars, vietnam, and even UN peacekeepers in Light in the black.
I think attack of the dead men is my favorite. And future of warfare. And seven pillars of wisdom.

no no so try headphones in the xbox controller to hear the game. the delay in rocksmith is not your guitar into the game, its the sound coming back to your from the console. hdmi is actually quite slow for audio transfer, but the headphone jack on the controller sends sound out using 2.4ghz wireless which is faster
@@Chainbrain I’m assuming I’d need a wired controller for this because I’ve tried it with my wireless one and it’s about the same, that is if we’re both talking about having guitar connected to Xbox and headphones in controller

Think of it like hammer on / pull off, but higher on the string with your other hand tapping the notes

I know you didn't compile this compilation but I honestly prefer the original version of Angels Calling over the apocalyptica version, I think the rawness is much more powerful compared to how robotic joakim sounds in the new version. great play though anyways
