Thank you for you for this review. I shattered my wist and have use of one hand. I used a crank shaft machine for years. I wanted an electronic machine and read all the reviews and bought the powermatic 4. It works so easy and well.
I was wondering about buying one of these. They're quite expensive, so I figured I check out the usage of it to see if it's something I want to spend money on. Been making cigarettes by hand because it's cheaper, but I also buy ready made for parties and such because I can't always be arsed to make them in advance in such quantities. Even if this thing breaks in just over a year and I have to buy a new one, I'll still be saving money. And like you said it's easy to take with you, so it's ideal for travelling. I also love that you said you use pipe tobacco for the review. I completely forgot how nice it is to have cigarettes with pipe tobacco. So thanks a lot for making this review!
They really are worth it for the ease and convenience. Once you start using a machine like this you'll never go back. Glad you found it helpful and thanks for watching!
Not sure you'll see this so many months after you posted, but I learned something new after buying mine off a friend 6 months ago. I had figured out to pack the front of the machine first ( filter end of the cigarette) but didn't think to peck the back end and then the middle. I was just pushing everything forward. Which worked great for me for a long time. However, now my ends aren't right like they were. My friend didn't give me any of the cleaning tools that would normally come with it. So I've been using a spoolie and a trimmer brush. Is there something else I should be doing to clean it? P.S. I also run it through a couple cycles to clear it.
Came across your video and loved it. First time want to try a machine like this. If you could make a video for a beginner like me that will help someone like me choosing the machine, tube and tobacco?
Unfortunately, it's just too hard to watch, and again product view is too far from camera. I prefer in your face close up view, with good key spot light lighting. Cheers
It seems to me like its not usefull. If you have tonarange the tobacco by hand and that useless lever, why spend the extra money? Ok, it makes the cigarette fast (after the 1 minute spent arangingbthe tobacco, puting in a tube, pulling the lever an pressing the button)... Its just fancy.
If u had arthritis in your hands/wrist it would be a godsend..but I asked myself if the extra 40$ that it costs VS my top o matic was worth it..yes I believe it is.
I worry about the longevity of this machine. Having to do all the steps except pulling the handle to load the tobacco, I think I'll be better off with the tried and true Top O Matic which has just broke after 5 years of use. Interesting machine though. 👍😎🗽✌
@@bigbadjohnpesek9894 I have looked at both the Powermatic 2+ & 4+ both about the same price, but have no idea which is better. Also, in my setup as it stands, I'd have to plug, and unplug the unit each use so that's not great unless I can think of a solution to leave it plugged in. I know the Powermatic line of cig makers has a great rep just as Top-O-Matic does so either will do. But, that auto injection is appealing! 👍😎✌🗽
Really? Thanks for the insite. But i can roll damn near a whole carton in about an hour. Yeah i have it down. Ive tried other rollers and most were junk compared to this.
Eh, the Powermatic 3 is much better and faster. Sure, it costs 150-200 but that pays for itself with the first 5 cartons rolled (over the price of generic cartons of cigs). I can roll 50-60 in about 5 minutes. Had it for about 4 years and it has saved me more than $4000 over the cost of generic cartons.
This guy is OK, not exactly lighting the world on fire but he's cool. That machine on the other hand....... what a useless pile of expensive dog sh*t. You still have to do everything except instead of pulling a lever you hit a button. Saves you from burning one half of one calorie of energy by pulling the lever. Might even do the injecting part slower than a manual machine. Even if it's a fraction of a second slower sh*t adds up when your doing a cartons worth of cigarrettes. BTW - If you own or are thinking about buying this machine, make sure you have a good manual one in your home as well for when the power goes out.
I don't think we are talking about the same machine. If you had a powermatic 3 or 4 you would know there is no button. It's a lever. Even with the use of one hand it rolls a pack in 8 minutes flat. Areq you a disgruntled ex employee or just a troll???

Is there a way to open the bottom to clean out tobacco that gets in the machine?
I want to learn how to roll and your video is very explanatory. Thank you for clearly describing each step.
Powermatic has much better machines than this one.

Where can i get it, in KENYA Africa
So which is the best ? The 2 plus or the 4?

Berapa harganya, bisa pesan ?
Effectively, same as P2.

Man, this guy cant spell arrange without combining it with another word. At first when you seem them it's confusing as F for second.

"At first when you seem them" like what?!

Got one. I make cigs for me and my wife about every couple days. It has saved me all kinds of money.

I've had my powermatic 4 for about five or six years now and its still cranking out good rolled cigs.

@@TOM-C. Dude, do you just need a power strip for more outlets???
I feel like the PM 3+ is more of an automatic machine than the PM4
It definitely is. It's a great machine that increases the productivity time by a lot. Thanks for watching!
Duh, ones fully automatic and one isn't, I'd choose the best/easiest one too. No brainer...

Sorry this was Kent for corygraners reply
I can roll a carton in 50 minutes with my trusted topomatic crank machine
Bought a 17$ machine that makes a pack of smokes in 10mins why buy something i have to manually pack?
Good point which machine and where did you purchase it?
