Nimbus 25 are the most comfortable shoes ever, it legit feels like you're running on clouds. Having said that I can't wait for the Gel-Kayano 30 to be released. It's meant to have incredible comfort like Nimbus 25 and superior support for overpronation and people with flat feet or low arch.
Great job on video.. I have both.. your "heel strike" comparison truly captures the differences between the the two.. for people 200lbs +, the Nimbus 25 is far superior for "knee protection". MOREOVER I find the Nimbus far more comfortable to wear, the stretchy upper makes it feel you have an extremely comfortable bed slippers on!!
Honestly this is a lot closer than you think … if you guys have tried the nimbus you know that shoe is so damn comfortable and soft it gives the invincible a serious run for their money. Also I think Nikes invincible 3 has a awkward feel compared to the last iteration meanwhile the asics is your typical amazing asics fit and feeling
Iv owned both these trainers, bought the Nike's 1st, ran a half marathon in them and thought they were squishy and fun to run in, then once shoes got to around 20miles kept getting a blister on right foot close to arch. Within 40miles in these shoes both feet had blisters in same area of feet the inside area of foot around the arch. I have wide feet and seen similar comments in nike running shoes. I bought the Nimbus 25 and done 2 marathons in them for a comfortable run and used them for most runs for around a year now, still ridiculously comfortable, and never had any issues with blisters. Iv never had issues with Saucony trainers ether there great for wider feet 👍
Sounds nice Kevin! I want to buy the Nimbus 25 too. Did you take a wide version? I hesitate to buy them online because of this reason, would love to have the blue ones but my feet are a bit wide, and saw there is also a wide and extra wide version but only black. I’ll probably go to an Asics shop to try them, but would love to have your insight. Thanks in advance!
Hi, yeah the blue colourway is what I have and is really nice, personally it's just preference on colours. I have the standard size not extra wide and had no issue's what so ever. The nimbus 25 when I bought them had just been released and was over £150, but now can get them for under £100 😀 There not a trainer for setting PB's but 100% are for easy comfortable runs, the newer Nimbus 26 is out aswel now and took some price drops, might get better colours to choose from and upgrades on the shoe 👍 Hope this helps you 🤞
Nimbus 25 is definitely better for me. I love Invincible Run 2 and still have two pairs of it but the v3 didn't work out for me at all. Major disappointment. Couldn't even make it work for casual walking shoes - weirdly tight fit in the forefoot and heel slippage when running.
Invincible’s feel so good that they got me running. So much comfort. Upgraded to New Balance SC Trainers now. If you are a “heavier” runner, don’t sleep on the shoes I just mentioned. They can handle us.
I've been trying to decide between the Invincible 3 and SC Trainers. What's your experience? I've heard the carbon plate makes for a rough run unless you're running faster?
Tengo las dos! mil veces la Nike, su amortiguacion es mucho mas y responde mejor, la Asics no tiene respuesta tras amortiguarte en la caida y peso 90 kilos.
I have chronic foot pain, and I own both the Nimbus 25 and the Invincible 3. The Invincibles are softer and have more cushion. This is why I have chosen the Invincibles as my go to shoes.
As someone who has the invincible run 3’s and the nimbus 25’s. I still believe the New Balance 1080 v13 the best🤷♂️ They are even more comfy then the Nimbus 25’s. Anyone who likes comfy footwear should also try Oofos too
not a nike fanboy at all, and yes, they ruined some of their line up lately, but this is just not true. Alphaflys are still a league of their own, and invincibles 1+2 for example really offered a unique running experience though kind of a niche product…
Got trice experienced nike ,one of my air was flat the other one midsole left in the middle of the game and they brake off after a year twice experienced asics and they are almost unbreakable leathers peeling up but the midsole are still intact i stay on asics❤ one is for quantity over sales and the other one is for quality you choose
Sent the nimbus back, only managed 4.2 mile before my feet turned into an inferno, comfy shoes but crap at anything above a very slow pace and very warm
wait wat do u mean u sent it back? like u got a refund by asics? ive literally walked in a shoe for 30 mins and tried to refund at my local running store and they wouldnt allow
goog luck keeping your heels locked in the nikes. was very disappointed when trying this shoes especially coming from the Invincible 2. The nimbus is just on another level. Nike needs to go back to the drawing board on this shoe. Especially now that the nimbus 26 is out which is another step up from the 25.
I want to love the Nimbus but it just doesn’t suit my feet. Regular shoe size is too small and the next half size up although feels like it fits gives me blisters on my toe and a hotspot on the side of my foot. The only shoe I’ve ever ran in that caused this.
Even with the plush soles... Nike has never sold me, even going back to my high school years in the 90s. Looked great but just Soo uncomfortable. Nimbus 25!
Seems like asics just wants to fix overpornation and not also the other way around. Ppl roll the ankle outwards most times. I just got the nimbus 25 and Im not convinced it would help me not roll the ankle outwards feels like more support but nothing like NMDR1 Adidas shoes 😅😅 new Kayanos 30 have 4D arch support but nimbus 26 might be better for pronation.
i have both, not impressed by either. the nimbus has a great on foot feel, would love them just for walking, but as far as running,it just not as responsive as i would like it
Nike's one very dangerous for people who started running. It can roll your ankle down 💀 imagine you cant doing quad stretch in your warm up cause by this shoe 🤣🗿

look at the pronation at the beginning. Nike is causing a big roll inward and the Asics are holding the foot in a neutral position
Nike sempre prona

For midsole response and added stability go for the Asics. For pillowy run choose Nike.
I had Nike zooms and Nike renews but my ASICS are the damn Best!

Always Asics , no doubt about it, once you wear them you will always wear them. Excellent quality lasts for miles and miles.
Have you tried the ZoomX Invincible? Makes ASICS feel like cement.
Hell nah. Love the Metaspeed Sky/Edge, but the Novablast 3 last was uncomfortable and unstable.
If you haven’t laced up Invincible’s, maybe skip the comparing .
@@DistanceCat asics fits me better, and somehow my nike’s didnt last as much as asics.

I have these ASICS as I have bad spinal issues.. I love them … only thing I wear really…aside from Birkenstocks in summer
