When there is a funeral, the chiefs are rubbing hands it’s payday. Trading money outside while the family are moaning the loss of their love ones is a huge disrespect. The chiefs called it showing respect to the family but really is a way of making money and free feed. Exchanging money and goods is trading, not respect. That’s why these chiefs fight for opportunity to do a speech so they can get paid. Family members in NZ and Australia do big loans for these purpose. That’s why so many Samoans are struggling in foreign country because of money consistently send to Samoa for the greedy chief. R.I.P Luamanuvae.
