Funny Man might be one of the greatest hype men alive. I know he's got the most chill-sounding rap voice in the band, but he definitely knows how to hype up the crowds

They're not the best live performers but love them so much, great energy :) Good to see finally good crowd at their festival show, that kinda rarity, but they deserve more crowds like this in Germany!

I only heard from Hollywood undead from what I heard on the radio and wasn't going for them. But they blew me away and stole the show. They got a new fan from that preference. The studio doesn't do them justice. A guy from the crowd played guitar during coming in hot. It was a great show.
Perhaps you've learned in the past 4 months, but just in case they announced that they're taking six songs each from Swan Songs and American Tragedy and re-recording them. As far as I'm aware it's coming out either later this year or sometime next year
I love HU, but it makes me sad that whatever it takes was 90% backing track. Only Johnny's vocals were live (and a hype or two from Funny Man). The rest were from the track. Pretty sure the drummer wasn't being pumped out either, the sound of the drum kit is so different the rest of the show. When you argue that's not the case: notice how there was no feedback in whatever it takes, but there was in undead? It would have shown up in whatever it takes if their mics were all on. In whatever it takes, j-dogs part clearly comes through even though he isn't there. The snare and kick from the drum kit are basically non-existent in the first song, but super prevalent in the rest of the set. Same with the drummer vocal solo, 100% Bon Jovi there, not the drummer. I wish they wouldn't do this stuff.
the drummer vocal solo is a joke and daniels mic is still off for the first chorus of undead, their earbuds completely shut down during renegade along with instrumental tracks, the sound design at this show is absolutely terrible
