Love that scene when Hurrem walks through the crowd of randomeres staring at her, people were simple then, they expected to see a literal witch not a nice, respectable woman that walked and breathed like them 😂😂

They were shocked because no man was allowed to look at a sultana only the aghas of the harem and the sultan, thats why many sultans potraits were created after they died, random men who looked at a sultana would get excecuted lol

Wow the expression on their faces when valide sultan came out of their house... They saw a normal person, nothing like what they heard. Shes good. Long live valide sultan.

Love how she tells the Sultan he’s thrown family members into the fire, and he just shrugs like a 5 year old. ; )

At 20:25, coffee has been banned. This is perhaps the saddest moment in the entire series...

@@LiliFerya It fell by having its writer replaced. The original writer sadly passed away in the mid of production. She was the visionary that had conceived of the idea. When the new one came, the series fell flat, and the scenario became terrible, all characters lost their energy and their appeal.

Wait, when Hurrem wanted to rise and marry Suleiman, which was unheard of that time, it was ok. But when Nurbanu wants to rise, it's wrong?
They exactly mirror the Hafsa - young Hurrem situation. And I bet, if Suleiman met Hurrem as a prince and had other brothers, Hurrem would be as ruthless as Nurbanu. We can say Nurbanu is cruel, but isn't she living in a world, where her loved ones may be murder in a name of fratricide law?

Hurrem disliking Nurbanu is a fiction made for the show. In real life they had a good relationship, and that’s because Nurbanu was protective just like Hurrem. Knowing what Hurrem did when she was younger she couldn’t blame Nurbanu.
