Broken Social Scene perform "7/4 (Shoreline)" | Pitchfork Music Festival 2016 Видеоклипы
This was incredibly beautiful to hear and see that night. I came all the way from Seattle to Chicago on a frikkin' chain of unhappy buses, to see this... and in spite of anything else, it was worth it, for me, in the end.
crazy how tom cruise is playing lead guitar for them now
them jokes you're telling are Risky Business. lol
Randy marsh lead singer
Lol
I love her voice. I love coming across this song every now and then!
I hope her baby is a beautiful perfect creature
Ive never known a band to be so dancy and heartbreaking at the same time.
Listen to Skyline too
Something clicks in that crescendo right at the end. I can’t quite get it into words, but it sure is special.
The outro is still amazing love the horns.
still great song after so many years
seeing them in September and I'm SO EXCITED
one of the best songs written in the whole wide world...truth!! ;)
i love them! an this is pure magic!
bring years to my eyes every time I listen to this
Amazing. So great to see them continuing on.
Toronto rocks !!!
Idola~
I didn't know they were still around brings me back a couple years
Kevin Nel Also they cofirmed another album is in the works.
wow
Omg they are my Toronto band and I haven’t missed a concert !!!!
Tom Cruise sciencing lead, Rob Mcelhenney blasting rhythm, and Judah Friedlander crushing vox!
Amy 💛
that solo at 3:18 my god
Holy crap this is good.
This song is so great
Coming in coming in hot!
and i fucking love that bassist man...he is fucking owning it!!!
What I would give to have been there 😣
That kid has a cool mom :)
You can tell they're still an underground band.
brendan looks 70 years old
weird way to spell handsome
Does anyone know what type of guitar Andrew Whiteman (red guitar) plays? I thought would be a Gretsch or D'angelica, but it's not...
It's a Gibson anyways, the headstock is clearer in the KC video on this channel.
Gibson Chet Atkins Tennessean with the pickguard removed and a bigsby vibrato added
is there anything comparable to this track out there from Broken Social Scene?
Fire-eyed Boy maybe?
cause = time
almost crime
In what way? The hook, horns, singing? Fire Eyed Boy, Cause = Time, Almost Crime. Motion Label Debut (Fast).. Songs with the build up then horns (not necessarily as poppy) Sentimental X's and Hit the Wall, without vocals Our Faces Split The Coast In Half. Halfway Home from their new album sort of .
The entire You Forgot It in People album.
She sounds like Altered Images singer.
I wish eirher Emily or Feist could have been there.
either*
how many guitars you need lol
Ever hear of Explosions in the Sky? ;)
Indie rock is so rarely using uncommon time signatures that it has to be put in the title
Kevin Drew could you be any cooler? Like I love you and I'm a guy.
If you cant write a GOOD song, write a WEIRD one. That's the BSS motto.
Wow. I wish I hadn't seen this.
... and indie bands aren't supposed to have RIPPING guitar solos!
wow. they sound horrible now.glad i saw them a bunch years ago
I'll fist fight you for saying that
set it up..im game
hes right though
far from horrible, but not as good as they used to
time passes everyone by. but there's always new songs/singers.
this is how to become "not relevant"
They need to release a new album...
+Kevin J.B. O'Connor They did announce before they played Pitchfork that they were working on another album
how do you figure? My bloody valentine waited 22 years to release a record after Loveless and remained culturally significant.
Kevin J.B. O'Connor looks like there's a couple thousand people in that crowd, seems pretty "relevant" to me
